Amazing picture. Perfect blacks, when the screen goes to black, you think it is off! Vivid colors. 4K is astounding. Absolutely no issues

This TV has the greatest Picture in ANY light. There are very little problems with glare from windows, etc. We have had no "Washed out screens" from too much sunlight, etc. The contrast is, of course, perfect at 100 per-cent.
Although I'm not a fan of curved televisions, I am getting to like the curved aspect way more than I thought I ever would.

Before buying this TV, I looked at all the other models. While the current crop of 2015 TVs are all quite good, I was immediately drawn to the dramatic picture quality of this TV. Yes, it's more expensive (by about $1,000) than it's primary competitors but, in this case, you get your money's worth.
I picked the model with a curved screen. We have the TV in our great room, where we have 4 sliding doors. One of the surprise benefits of this TV (compared to the 2010 model it replaced) was this: we didn't get anywhere near as much glare from the sun as we did with our prior model-unless we sit exactly facing the TV. Anyone sitting at any angle other than directly opposite the sun gets a clear, virtually glare free picture, without shutting the curtains. That was a really nice surprise.
The only "downside" I have noticed so far is: the Smart TV doesn't support Flash Players. So, if you go to the web and want to watch a Video that uses Flash Player- you're out of luck. Maybe that can be fixed with a software upgrade in the future- you may want to ask your sales rep about that if it is important to you.

LG OLED is Outstanding

Ok, LG OLED is expensive. However, I've never seen anything so beautiful. Colors pop against the absolutely black blacks. OLED is emissive so no backlight to grey out the blacks. Full 180 degree viewing angle unlike any other I've seen. 3D is amazing. 4k is 4k. Did not have to upgrade sound system as it comes with optical cable for audio out. I'm very happy with this product. Best Buy was competent in delivery and haul away of the old one. They chose to use component video for hookup which was a poor choice. This set needs HDMI from the cable box. They should have known better.

Outstanding picture. Awesome clarity and detail. Love the up scaling, which not only improves HD and bluray source feeds, it also enhances standard definition material or feeds. The colors, especially blacks, are vivid and precise. And the minute details of things, such as flower, plant and form, are simply wonderful. Try a comparison to other HD, 4K, or other UHD TVs, you'll be blown away with this TVs superiority.

Fantastic TV! Best TV I've owned

This TV is really great - just like all the reviews say. Now, yes, it is expensive and I had to get over that. To compare, I had a really nice plasma TV prior to this TV - and many of the LEDs and LCDs jsut seemed washed out compared to what I've been used to with my plasma black levels. This TV blows the plasma experience out of the water. It's like looking out a window. It's beautiful.
User experience-wise, the apps are great, navigation and setup is an absolute breeze. I'm eager to use the built in DirecTv functionality once I upgrade my DirecTv main genie box. Then I can use the LG voice control for channel finding... Who ever remembers channel numbers?
I opted for the curve screen, and I don't know that it makes a big difference in experience. Had I to do it all over again, maybe I'd do flat for wall mounting. That said, the glare with the curve screen is really minimal, so that's a plus!
Speakers seem to be a little weak - so those that are forking out serious bucks really should have a sound solution in mind. I have a Sonos Playbar and Sub that compliment this TV well.
I have no regrets on this TV. Everyone that comes over remarks on it's picture and functionality. A definite repurchase and has LG on my radar for other products.

This is, quite simply, the best TV available. There are some great reviews already on the Best Buy site that I valued highly before deciding to purchase this tv. I do want to emphasize that, at least for me, it took A LOT of fine tuning to get a perfect picture. I watch a ton of European soccer. None of the pre-set picture settings were even remotely close to providing a good picture. After multiple iterations, I now have an absolutely fantastic picture, but I went in and literally adjusted every single setting to do it. Now, whether i'm 3 feet away or 25 feet away at an acute angle, it's a fantastic picture. The "Cinema" setting is perfect for movies. The rest of the settings were pretty worthless for me. The curved screen is amazing to watch, from just about any angle. Watching on this thing is an immersive experience. And the tv itself is a piece of art. If you have patience to set this thing up properly, you will be richly rewarded. If you just want something that will have a great picture right out of the box, you may end up being disappointed for the money you just spent.

I didn't go into Best Buy with the intention of buying this TV. In fact I was considering several 55 inch TV's in the $1,500 range. The LG OLED in the same size category is almost twice that. I took the additional step and went for the 65 inch. My room is 15 feet by 18 feet, the 65 inch size is perfect and the picture spectacular. It's on an angled wall in the corner of the room and the curve gives you great viewing from every angle. I was skeptical but it really works. And the best part is the TV is very user friendly. Simple and enjoyable. Anyone that wants to step up their home TV experience should consider this one. It's a winner!

Picture is superb. Curved frame allows great viewing from all angles. Easy to set up and love all the smart TV features. The only hassle we had was we were told the mount would come with the TV when it was delivered, and it did not. But upon our return to the Best Buy store, they retrieved it for us (it was at the store but failed to stay with the TV for delivery). Best Buy employees told us it had been happening a lot (that it was supposed to be included in the box but wasn't). This TV does not work with any universal mount, so I would make sure you have this taken care of upon purchase.

i received my new oled lg 65eg9600 on December 22 just in time for the holidays. kudos to BestBuy for their prompt delivery just as it had been promised! The picture is superb right out of the box. i have yet to see anything in 4k other than the Comcast 4k sampler. Wow!! THE PICTURE IS INCREDIBLE. awsome contrast and brightness. the colors after a little tweeking are spot on. I am very satisfied with my purchaae. i upgraded from a 1080p Samsung 51 inch plasma which i loved and didnt think any thing but a plasma could beat. I was wrong. I highly recomed any LG OLED.

I am not a technical type guy, but I can tell a great picture when I see it. The colors really stand out. The blacks are indeed black. It takes a little getting used to seeing so much of the screen black. My screen placement is in a sunlit position, and the picture is bright enough to overpower the sunlight. The anti reflective coating (I assume that is what does it) works wonders in controlling the reflections of lights, sun and etc. The curved feature of the screen does not does not present any problems. The TV is somewhat pricey, but if you can afford it, buy it.

I did quite a bit of research before I laid out the cash for this OLED television. First and foremost the picture is beautiful. It is everything we were looking for. On the downside, I wish there were at least one more HDMI port. The curved screen is a non-issue. I don't notice at all. The user interface is a little clumsy, but I think I have finally figured it out. I do wish they would add HBO Go for the WEBOS, but I suspect that will happen eventually. Delivery of the TV is an area that I'm less than satisfied. It took two weeks due to inventory and scheduling screw-ups. Since I am rating the TV and not the delivery (which would only get one star), I left that out of my overall rating.

I wasn't even shopping for a TV since I had just purchased a Samsung 65js8500 last year which is a great TV. I happen to see this LG 65eg9600 on clearance one night for $2k so I was fortunate to snag this deal online with free delivery. To make a long story short, it was delivered on time and in great condition. Hooked the TV up and right out of the box I can see a big difference in picture quality between this OLED and my js8500. And to be honest, im a Samsung fanatic. I've always had only Samsung everything. This LG OLED takes the cake. Samsung panels are a little brighter and a bit more colorful so to speak, but this OLED holds it own. So I'm really happy I was able to get this on clearance because who knows how long til the 65 inch OLED will be this cheap again. Luckily I did grab it on blackFriday for the $2700(2016 model 65B6) I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I was persuaded to purchase this curved LG 65-inch OLED 4K 3D TV by the salesman who could tell that I wanted the very best viewing experience. The TV is definitely pricey, but I have not one iota of buyer's remorse about this decision. I love the picture quality, and I love the curve, too!

But the new 65EG9600 has yet raised the bar even further.
Add the fact that HDR support will be added to this set at a future date via a firmware download, this set will provide the best picture quality available today and tomorrow. See the link below.

This TV is by far the best one that I ever purchased. I have watched Avatar in 3D twice in the same week and it was a better picture than in the theater. Even the older black and white moves have much sharper picture. The black is much darker. I could say more but I think you should check this new system from LG and compare it with other brands and you will see for yourself just how great this TV is.

This TV is exceptional. The contrast and color accuracy is nothing short of amazing. One of my favorite features that I have never enjoyed in the past is 3D. This is the first TV that I have seen that really pulls off the 3D viewing experience and makes it something you want to use. The Web OS interface is easy to use, and the app support is also amazing. The TV offers every app I would expect or want with the exception of Plex of XBMC support. The TV does support DLNA through its smartshare feature, so you can play media from a NAS. Calibration was easy and straightforward using the Disney WOW calibration Bluray, and the picture is exceptional. There was a little color shift and dark banding on the edges of the screen originally, but it has disapeared after a days use of the TV.

picture on the LG65eg9600 is absolutely amazing! The contrast of the OLED is unmatched in any of the other tvs we looked at. It is a little pricey, but buying it "open box" from Best Buy put it into the the price range we were willing to spend for the best picture on the market.
