Fantastic Value but Mediocre HDR Experience

I enjoyed the BX while I had it, but ultimately returned it because it wasn't bright enough for my tastes. HDR didn't pop quite the way I had hoped. It maxed out at a peak brightness of about 550 nits, which is just barely acceptable for HDR. That being said, the overall picture quality was outstanding otherwise. The blacks of OLED are simply astonishing, and the 120hz VRR support worked fine with my Series X (something you can't say for the majority of 2020/2021 tvs right now). I would recommend the BX if you're looking for a high-class OLED experience but ONLY if you are planning on using it in a dimly lit room. Dark room watching is great, but this TV can't quite get bright enough to match with any bright reflections or even moderate lighting. Some might disagree, but for me personally I was looking for a little more pop for HDR. I returned it for a Hisense U8G which was exactly what I was looking for. I will say the remote for the BX was just ok. I didn't really care for the "wand" feature, but it wasn't terrible. The menus were fairly easy to understand but somethings were hidden which did force you to look through various sub menus for certain settings. Not a big deal, especially since this TV looked great out of the box at ISF Bright Room settings. If you want an affordable OLED capable of next gen gaming this is a great option, just make sure you don't have a lot of light in your room!

Wow! A New Level of TV Watching!

We absolutely are blown away by this TV. We were waiting for our 40 inch 2007 Panasonic, then state of the art, to die and it just kept on working. We finally gave up and bought this OLED. We had to go with the BX instead of the CX, because of the footprint of the pedestal, and I don’t see how anything could be better. The picture puts the plasma to shame (13 years makes a big difference in technology - haha) and the capabilities are outstanding. We use no extra speakers and the sound is terrific, although we do not claim to be audiophiles. Shows that used to be good are now so explosive and captivating, they seem to be a different entity. We never will be able to go back. We were worried about burn-in because I have CNN on about three hours a day. Our solution was to buy an inexpensive little LED that sits on the hearth (for CNN) and only go to the big one for our recreational watching. Well worth the few dollars to protect our investment!

This tv was perfect for my then and current needs - it still works beautifully three years later and with no screen burn in. Not sure how tvs can get much better than this!

OLED is another ballgame compared to any other television I have owned. I am not a big television watcher, but do appreciate the picture quality when I do watch it. I only have two minor issues. One, the remote does not work very well unless you are centered on the TV. From oblique angles, the on-screen cursor jumps around or disappears as the edge of the screen is approached. Unfortunately, all of the necessary controls are along the edges and was frustrating at first. Second, updates are hit and miss. I have has a number of updates that disconnected the wireless, screwed up the connection to my LG soundbar and made a couple of apps that I use no longer function. Once everything worked, I turned off auto updating and things have been fine.

I've been living with a perfectly fine Panasonic plasma LED-lit 55" panel for about a decade. it was time to upgrade. This TV came in this humongous box... Really Nice packaging. You undo the package ties then just lift the other box out and remove the Styrofoam. After you do that and get it set up (only takes like 10minutes...) It runs like a super TV. Amazing picture quality. Black levels are amazing really good contrast. All in all I Highly recommend. I am not disappointed.

I normally don't write reviews, but this TV is AMAZING! Super thin so it's a little sketchy when I was wall mounting it. But on the wall, it looks very good, and the picture is second to none. Glad I finally made the leap into OLED. Definitely recommend purchasing.

Incredible picture! Mounted in 2 story living room with floor to ceiling windows all around it is plenty bright enough. FINALLY can enjoy dark scenes again after years of bad view angles and grey blacks in the evening. It looks just as gorgeous as it does in the store! Don’t believe the hype about it not being bright enough in a room with windows unless you have sunlight directly on the screen and no curtains. Don’t believe the lies spread by the LCD only companies, they have NOTHING on OLED. It is exceeding all my expectations for picture and even has ATMOS audio onboard and decent speakers (although I’m using a soundbar). Kept trying to convince myself to go with a cheaper LED as they look good in store, but got lucky and scored an open box which was in perfect condition. This Bx model PQ is more/less identical to the last years CX, only with 2x 120Hz HDMI vs all 4x120Hz and a different mounting stand The new A1/C1 has no real updates this year, and the A1 is a step down with the 60 hz panel and no VRR. What really blew me away is a more/less perfect picture out of the box in cinema mode, no need to screw with hundreds of settings to make it look good (looking at you QLED/ULED!). You CAN tweak, but the presets are 95% perfect. Since I went open box got the BB 5 year warranty covered by the savings….but the OLEDs are really solid now so doubt I will need it. Stop reading and start looking for an open box so you can get one too!!!!!

This is not some techie review. This TV was easy to set up, the picture is great even without having someone come out and fine tune. I have had 3 or 4 people make a comment on how great the picture is on this TV. I have an antenna, Apple TV, cable box and Xbox hooked up and again no issues connecting everything myself. If you use the stand, it definitely takes two people to assemble. Read the directions before starting.

I bought my OLED television 5 days ago and I'm very happy with my purchase I previously owned the 2020 QLED Q70T television and I can definitely say the OLED has a much better picture quality.

Absolutely love this TV. The quality is great, the picture is amazing (absolutely astonishing) and the TV is beautiful. Super easy to set up the TV, so many cool features once you get to know how to use the remote and TV. This was such a great deal (especially with it being on sale) and I have to say, it was 100% worth the buy. Sucks when movies aren't HD because you can definitely tell on this TV but those 4K movies are phenomenal.

What can one say? OLED is the ultimate TV tech. It's black are perfect, which in turn makes colors pop more. Don't let the uniformed tell you it's not bright enough for a bright room or you get picture burn in easily. Simply not true, just marketing nonsense from competitors who peddle QLED and LED, etc. If one can afford the somewhat premium price, OLED is the TV to get.

Great TV! Love the picture and how easy it is to navigate through the tiles to select the streaming applications. I also love the mouse feature that you can use instead of having to tab over to whatever selections that you want to view. I haven't tried all of the features, such as voice command or Alexa. Also, I haven't used the WebOs feature just yet. Will play with it soon.

This TV looks great! Sharp picture, great black responsiveness and the LG interface is really a nice touch coming from Samsung TV's. Very happy with this purchase and the quality. Only issue is, its almost too thin. When trying to handle it to install the stand and place its hard to hold without putting pressure on the display or getting some flex. TV Inputs all work great.

LG - 65" OLED is an outstanding TV! Color, sound and relative ease of set up made the experience enjoyable. I would have given it 5 Stars except for a problem try to use Bose Bluetooth Earbuds while simultaneously using the OLED internal speakers. The earbuds easily paired BUT controlling the volume was next to impossible. Ended up returning the earbuds and purchasing a much less expensive set of Sony RF Headphones. They plugged in and work like a charm. Still I would recommend this TV.

Bought the OLED65BX to stay near $2k. The performance is great. No problem with brightness. Magic remote is a little touchy but not a problem. Geek Squad did a good installation. Bestbuy honored price guarantee when cost dropped by 100 bucks. Had it for two weeks and no issues.

Best purchase I've ever made in my life, in terms of investment. The picture is top notch, the apps are pretty good, save for a few that it does not have and the web browser is the best thing since sliced bread. The TV is also very intuitive and can be paired with other IoT devices.

Awesome picture quality. Love the thin profile and how light the TV is. Setup went very well to Verizon Fios. The Magic remote is difficult to get used to, It does not appear to link up to the DVR function on my Verizon Fios. I'll have to refer to the online guide to operate the remote better. Sound is better than average.
