The TV has really great picture quality and color with HDR. I like the responsiveness while gaming and also doesn't have any delay in pixel response so there's no shadows during fast movement. The point and click remote is nice too. I'm not using any of the built in features but it comes with everything needed for the SMART TV portion, complete with tracking and advertisements. I wish I could disable the ads completely but even while not enabled I saw them pop up once in the top right of the TV so it tells me they are definitely spying/not taking account user choices. I deducted two stars for that because it's an invasion of privacy.

Very happy with this 65 inch tv for the picture quality and features. I was already used to the magic remote on my previous set and am using a Roku Ultra box as well. Adjusted picture settings using ratings.com guide and am very happy with the resulting image quality. I was rather surprised at how good the built in speakers were but did add a good Samsung soundbar on. Originally I had purchased a TCL online that arrived broken and dead. Decided to buy this set in store and have it delivered to avoid playing the shipping roulette game. Caught a good sale price to boot.

I was fortunate to buy this television with $400 off. The price went up $200 closer to the original price. The tv is excellent. The picture is clear and crisp. With the nanocell screen and fast processor there is zero lag. The “smart” features are very convenient. Setup was really easy. The magic remote is very responsive. It includes Google Assistant & Amazon Alexa. Just make sure you have two people to help you lift it up into a wall mount. I did it by myself but I two people would definitely make it easier. A lot of technology for the price.

Pros: Great remote! Smooth, easy interface, no stuttering Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are great! Great sound Gallery mode for art YouTube app is HDR compatible Cons: Poor black levels Alexa or phone app can't turn the TV on (even though it says you can) Not as many inputs as other Sony TV we looked at Local dimming is pointless and distracting Dolby Vision seems to smooth motion even with TruMotion off Hump on back bottom prevented mount from being completely flush Missing HBO Now Google assistant is pretty pointless

This tv is pretty sweet! Its definitely large enough for a medium to large livingroom. The picture is excellent when watching 4k and blue ray, and the HDR works very well while gaming! My only complaint is with the "smart features", you cant use Google home or Alexa to turn ON the TV, it will only turn it off..disappointing to say the least. My other dislike is the bottom lit projection, you cant tell when watching tv, but its definitely noticeable when certain programs or games are played.

The TV looks excellent on display and I have always enjoyed LG products. I've had this TV for a couple weeks and I am satisfied for the most part. My only complaint is that I almost can't see past the "gray-black" the TV puts out when viewing a dark scene in the dark. Other than that, the voice commands work well with my Google Home, the apps are premium standard. If you want more apps I would suggest pairing your TV with a Roku, or other streaming device. I am impressed with the sound, even without a sound bar! The cinema HDR quality is fantastic! You will want to switch off the energy saving mode to get rid of the dark picture. Gaming is great, as the TV is excellent with keeping up with fast paced action! Overall, if you are looking for a budget 65", you cannot go wrong here!

I bought this TV when it was onsale for $899. So far it has been a great TV no issues. The color is wonderful and it supprots both Dolby Vision and HDR 10 formats. I has the best OTA tuner in it that I have seen. I am using a small two dollar Antana and it picks up all my stations and not had to adjust it one time. My other TVs with same one in the same place would not do that. Also Great picture.

So far me and my family are enjoying this LG 4k UHD television. It meets all of my spec requirements. It's 4K UHD, 120HZ refresh rate, HDR, 4 HDMI ports, supports Dolby Vision, DTS-HD, and Dolby Atmos. Installing it on my wall was super easy since it was replacing an old Vizion that died on me because the VESA wall mounts are the same on the back of the television. I was also impressed by the WEB OS that runs the TV, it is snappy and responsive. Another thing that I didn't know that I'd love was the magic remote! Its like a magic wand, when you point it towards the television it displays an onscreen cursor which helps you navigate menus ( really helpful when using apps like Netflix ). The remote also has voice control which is a plus. There was one thing that did annoy me but not so much a deal breaker, when there is a black back ground with onscreen text, example HDMI input is displayed, the background with the text is much lighter and not completely black. It is not visible when actually viewing the TV so not a big deal, but is noticeable like I said when switching inputs. I would still recommend this TV.

Purchased this TV to replace our old 52" SANYO 1080p. That old TV is excellent and is now wall hung in the Master Bedroom and used primarily with a ROKU stick. When we got this TV set up, since it was Christmas Eve, we decided to watch Home Alone. OMG! I never expected such an amazing picture quality. It was like ... we were right there with the actors and not watching them on a screen. Exciting! We began watching stuff we had already seen that might provide a "new" experience on this TV, like all the PIXAR movies. They didn't disappoint on bit. The "Smart" TV is great, but we use a ROKU because not everything we watch on the ROKU is available with just the TV itself. Plus, I found the picture quality with the ROKU to be better than what the TV's native apps provided. BUT don't get me wrong, if you want ONE SINGLE DEVICE with all the main streaming apps, great sound, web browsing, etc.,, then this TV will not disappoint. I would definately recommend this. Pair it with a good quality sound bar over HDMI ARC and you'll have a completely satisfying experience.

I searched through all the available UHD 4K 65” televisions from major manufacturers. I used the “true” refresh rate (not fake sales gimmick rates) to find the lowest priced unit with a native rate of 120 fps. This one was advertised “truemotion 240” which is really only 120 fps, but that is what I was looking for anyway. All the other units had prices higher than 1,100 to 1,200 andI got this one for about 850 with geek squad certified open box pricing. Got 24 month no interest financing. Took it home that evening and had it set up and running the next day. Also was equipped with 4 HDMI and 3 USB ports. WIFI and Bluetooth with Smart tv features were also included. As far as I can tell, this is the best tv available unless you step up to a OLED or QLED unit for at least 3 times the price I paid. So far I am very satisfied.

Very good product. It is an upgrade in size (55 to 65) and picture quality (4k) from previous Samsung set. Strong point is a very efficient remote control. OLED is a better technology but the price difference is still favorable to the LED TV. At current prices, I could get (almost) 3 LED tvs for the price of one OLED TV. Too much to pass.

This TV is great. From the picture quality to the sound. It’s just an amazing TV. First, the picture quality is amazing and the upscale capability is also great. In addition to the fact that this TV is 120hz native with 240hz with software. The picture is very fluid and clear. Great for gaming on my ps4. I was very impressed with the sound quality. I live in a townhome and when the AC/heat turns on there is a ton of noise in the living room from the main vent. Always had to turn up the sound. Now, i dont have to mess with the sound. It sounds loud and clear even when the hvac system turns on. The menu is very easy to use and you can’t beat that the remote is a pointer and voice control. My only con and the reason i gave it 4 stars is that i had to play with the display for 2 hours before it looked any good. Doesn’t seem to be calibrated very well out of the box. This was a big issue when i plugged in my PS4 and pc. It had very dark resolution. Also, when i plugged my pc via hdmi. Even at, fit the screen. The edges were still a bit off the screen. NOTE: a system update fixed this. Overall great TV and great price for a premium tv.

I bought this set after spending about an hour hemming and hawing with the salesperson about what to buy. Like many, I wanted as much tv as I could get, with as little cash outlay as possible. I wanted to stick with Samsung as that was the set I was replacing, but when I was shown this model, my mind was made up. Once I had it in my home, I used the settings found on rtings and the picture is beyond compare for my viewing needs. Now, for the word of caution... Be mindful if you are placing this on a stand, the size and configuration of that stand. I ran into a problem as the size of the base takes up a LOT of real estate! So much so, that I had to place my soundbar on top of the large metal base. The problem I ran into with that configuration is that there soundbar then blocked the remote eye on the bottom of the tv. Not wanting to buy a new stand, wall mount the tv, or any other drastic measure, I was able to mount the soundbar to the FRONT of my stand using the bracket I have had stashed away for the last 6 years, and only had to pony up for a longer optical audio cable. But in the end...no regrets!

I bought the 65" version of this and the picture is absolutely beautiful. The screen is bright and clear and HDR videos in 4K just look gorgeous. I now have the chore of updating my classic DVD collection to Blueray because those old DVDs do not look nice at all on the new screen. The TV tries but ultimately it just looks pixelated, blurry, and faded. I bought a Samsung sound bar to go with this because I thought the internal speakers would be sub-par but the internal speakers do a really good job on their own. For general family use, I think I could have just stuck with the internal speakers. But, the sound bar integration is easy, thorough, and slick and the sound is very nice. It connects optically to the TV and then is in sync.

We had a Samsung smart TV in the basement and half of the lights in the screen went out and we only had it for a few months. He got this 2nd new TV after do more research since we had been Samsung products people for years. He loves this new TV. Works great. I will say it is a little different to start out because the remote has a laser type sensor that there is a cursor on the screen like you qoudl see on the computer when using a mouse. It moves fairly freely and easily. The TV has a sleep mode screen which has some really pretty pictures from artists. It gives you a nice way to change settings and the picture quality is awesome. I was a little Leary ar first but once I used it more it got easier. Great new and working TV

WebOS works much better than older generation Samsung. It is better software and operates more snappy. The modern remote helps here as it is like an "air mouse". It won't multitask but does have tabs for the browser, meaning flipping from a Youtube to something else will stop that stream, I was listening to music. I don't use most of the advanced features for audio or video. I use a set of pictures on a usb stick and compare that to a computer laptop to set up the video controls. For example backlight 85, contrast 65, brightness 58, sharpness 24, color 34, tiny r7, temp w3, most dynamic options are off, including local dimming. I like that i can apply this setting to all video inputs! It is true that this type of array vs. Samsung has a wider viewing angle. I find the colors to be more pleasing than the samsung. The samsung had a neat custom zoom feature that almost "remembered" dependent upon the channel. I use this to eliminate as much as possible tickers on news and sports feeds. On this one I have set it explicitly. The uniformity could be better such as wide expanses of blue sky or other uniform scene patterns have some areal consistency problems. This was true for the last TV as well. This has 240Hz processing which is good for sports, which I had a good NCAA football season watching through this, Formula 1 as well. The side by side multi view function can be good for tuning a football game over the air with an HDMI feed. The performance overall is enough to make me an LG first purchaser over samsung, sony at this time uses a similar LED configuration and are pricier. Many Vizio don't have a tuner. The included channel plus has an interesting "nature" feed that can be nice to have on while listening to music. I haven't yet tried to use a streaming app such as sling or youtubeTV. I generally like the remote in comparison to older keyed only ones, it operates well and has good thought put into how the different buttons function. The wheel will roll back cable dvr for example. The wheel works well on web browser too. The "back" button is context sensitive use as well.

Ok I thought I would have issues with this HDTV. Awesome blacks and bright colors. Sound is good for what is provided. The remotes and Google assist is so easy to learn. Google assist makes it easy to get where I need. One big flaw that to me does mark it down to 4 stars is the Stand provided is flimsy and cheaply made. Unlike the LG 55" 4K I bought last year where it was built to last. I fear that this TV will fall from the slightest vibration of noise. I live in an apartment and am not allowed to hang it on the wall.Other then the The Picture ,Sound, and Remote are top notch in my book.

I bought this TV on Black Friday, I went in wanting the door buster $599 70in, but they were sold out and I'm glad they were. Instead I came out with this 8000 series LG, I have two other LG TV's, so they are my preference. All I can say is WOW!!!, I'm still learning all the functions, love the magic remote and love watching 4K content. You will have to adjust the settings to get the best picture possible and once you do. WOW!!!

Wanted to upgrade to a larger TV in the living room with the latest features and having already been using a LG 55" UH6030 I knew I wanted to stay with the LG brand. This TV does not disappoint. The colors look more vibrant and the sound quality from the TV's internal speakers are much more clear then the previous TV. Set up was very easy and all around I am very satisfied with this TV. I paired it with a LG 4K Blu Ray player and LG sound bar and couldn't be happier. Great TV especially for the price and would recommend.

We almost purchased a much more expensive one, but decided to get this one instead because we've had good experiences with LG before. I'm so glad we did, we love this TV... the picture is wonderful, really sharp without being overly contrasty like a Samsung. We love watching Sci-fi adventure and the refresh rate is great. Even better is the interface for Netflix, Amazon and other stuff. It can toggle between them quickly without reloading. Also the pointer remote is really intuitive and easy to use.
