Plus, the remote only does a few of the things that it should be doing. It's connected to my directv, but only operates a few of the functions that the directv remote does. Overall, it's a good, but I think next time, I'll go for a higher model, or a different brand.

Horrible picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv to upgrade from a 50 inch Sony 1080p And I was very disappointed in the picture quality. The Sony produced better picture than this. Yes the picture was sharper and motion was clearer on this lg but overall contrast levels, brightness and black levels and colors was no where near the Sony I had, all dark scenes were very gray and there was a lot of LED backlight bleeding. and it was worse with my room lights turned off. Even after adjusting picture settings it still could not compete with my Sony. I returned the tv and for 500$ more I bought a Samsung q6 and it was a night and day difference. If you want a tv that has great picture I would recommend spending more and stay clear of the TVs like this one that are in this price range, I’m glad I ended up spending extra.

The LG native software is a bit cumbersome and lacks an intuitive approach to navigate. The screen resolution is phenomenal yet there seems to be a significant issue with dark scenes and when screen is primarily black - it almost looks splotchy at times
