Best Buy is usually where we shop for electronics. I know the LG tv line is one of the better ones. The salesman helped me to find the one I have.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Backstory: I’ve had a 46” HDTV since October 2009 and I have been looking to upgrade to a 4KTV for about a year now. Finally decided to make the jump…the only remaining question was 55” or 65”…so of course, I went 65”. Got the TV out of the box, mounted it and ready to try out. Of course, the most obvious is that 65” an upgrade over 46”. Just realizing how much of the wall is now blocked by the size of the screen. Turned the TV on and found the settings button. Made sure the internet was setup correctly as I recently just cut the cord from cable. I like having the option of Wi-Fi and/or LAN. I prefer LAN to free up the Wi-Fi for other devices and to be hardwired for streaming purposes. I really like that the TV can find my laptop on the Wi-Fi and can cast videos to the TV. My next search under settings was for the color. I had used HDR on my phone and camera in the past, so I wanted to see how HDR would look on the TV. I turn to ESPN and a playoff basketball game is on. The first thing I noticed is the colors are so bright! The colors pop out and they are deep. A deep red, a deep blue, a deep green, yellow, etc. Next, I turned on the PS4 Pro and popped in a racing game I play. I automatically see more detail in the track surface, the trees around the track and even signage is more clear and vibrant. My final test was plugging in the 4K Fire Stick and searching for 4K movies on Netflix. I thought I was watching a live event, not something that has been filmed. The internal speaker for the TV has good sound own it’s good, but I did purchase a soundbar to use with the TV. You’ll be happy with the sound quality without a soundbar, if you choose. I have a few gripes, but nothing that’s a dealbreaker. It’s a minor inconvenience that the Wi-Fi on the TV has to be manually reconnected everytime you turn it on (Unless I setup something wrong). The Magic Remote is nice, but it’s gonna take me some time to get used to the cursor bouncing across the screen. I’ve used the voice control on the Magic Remote a few times, but I only use it to test the TV more than anything. Disclosure: I’ve had the TV for about 10 days now and I’m still learning different features and I’m more impressed. So, if you’re movie lover, a gamer, or big sports watcher, you will not be disappointed with this TV.
