I love the lg nano tv. Its remote is amazing to use. the pointer makes things easier to browse through whether using an app or browsing the internet. The connectivity is Awesome. I was surprised that turning a video game on will also power up the tv and the surround sound( using the HDMI/ARC connection). The quality of picture is great too. I wanted the 85 series but it wouldn't sit on my tv stand so a chose the 81 series which has a slower refresh rate. I cannot tell ther quality difference at home. So I am well satisfied with this TV.

The quality of picture is great. It takes time to get used edge lit (wish i had Done more Research). Settings are very easy and it connected seamlessly to my Samsung sound bar system and rear speakers. Very easy to sync the magic remote to the cable box. This was to replace a 7 year 50” Samsung smart 3D TV that is 7 years old. We needed a more advanced smart TV and be able to watch 4K movies. So far I’m happy i hope it holds up as long as my Samsung has.

This was a big improvement over my 5 year old LG TV. The colors are more vivid, brighter and the blacks are deeper. I like the Web OS from my old TV so that was another reason for this purchase along with the wide viewing angles of the IPS panel. The Magic Remote is really nice too. I deducted 1 star because the local dimming doesn't help the picture, it doesn't have enough zones so it should just be turned off, but the picture is still great without it.

A great value on the market. Far less expensive than OLED or other 'top' of the line answers for at home viewing. Depending on the source content, the picture is excellent. Does not have the dynamic true black colors that you get from other, far more expensive models, but everything else is crystal clear. One note, hated it out of the box until I turned off the localized dimming function. The "local" dimming causing light bleed into the darker parts of the screen. YouTube video will walk you thru the process, and you will be very happy for your expense when you do.

When I bought this TV a week ago Best Buy said in the specifications that it had full array backlighting with local dimming. I have since discovered it does not (and BB has changed) that spec to edge lighting. Others have complained of light bleed from the corners and I have experienced the same but I have been able to minimize it with settings. Local dimming is a joke and made the picture look awful so I turned it off. The TV is OK at this price point and most of the time produces an excellent picture. Dark scenes are a problem sometimes.

This is the entry level Nano cell but don’t be fooled by that. It’s totally brilliant in picture performance on non-4K content which is the majority of programming available to us. This makes almost everything look lifelike, & 4K content just blows you away. Very many picture & sound adjustments are easy to make for an optimal viewing experience with every content & source bringing different quality. Sound is so good that no need for a sound bar. Mine is hooked up to home theater surround sound & I use it when I want. Don’t feel like I have to turn it on because the multiple sound settings & quality of sound is great. It’s got a gaming engine that’s really good too. You will be very very happy with the remote control and how simple it is to use. It’s 1000.00 retail and at a grand you can’t complain.

I've had this tv for over a year now. 1 year and 3 months to be exact. The picture quality is excellent. The tv itself has many features and is easy to use and setup. The sound is average. I added a soundbar and that has improved the sound tremendously. One day last week the tv would not turn on and I had to unplug it. It then turned on after I plugged it back in after 10 seconds. It happened again this morning. I was ready to give this tv 5 stars inspite of the sound quality. I can't give it 5 stars at this point. I will have to update this review later if a major issue is developing with the tv turning on.

I'm sure there are "better" TVs out there, but this one is quite a step up from the old 45" I had for over 15 years. Depending on the source, the content seems a little dark, even with the picture setting on Vivid, but that's probably normal for any 4K TV - not a deal breaker! I love that this smart TV has a browser so when I watch church services it feels more like church than watching on a device. I do still use my Roku, since many free channels are not available through the TV's "store." Remote takes a little getting used to, but is as close to a truly universal remote as I've ever had - runs my LG Blu Ray player and LG sound bar. One surprise was that it came with analog ports to plug my VHS player into so grandkids can still watch Disney videos when they come over.

Coveted this model over the Samsung because of its versatility and reviews on its superior color features. And all I read and heard is true. This is a truly superior TV with many features offered and an almost impossible number of settings to perfect your TV watching experience. Have now watched movies, live sports, 4k HDR programs and found the LG more than adequate for the tasks. The only reason I couldn't do 5 stars is the almost professional knowledge you must have to get the colors and backlighting and contrast, etc., etc., etc. correct for all of your program options. Maybe an automatic setting using AI to decode the broadcast signal and ensure automatic settings for the genre.

Ive only had this tv since week after Christmas 2020, so it’s a short term review. First it is replacing a 5 year old 50” Samsung smart tv, which started to show grey shadow at top third of screen, couldn’t see faces clearly. Warranty ran out and to repair wasn’t worth it for cost of part. Cyber Monday decided to try an LG this time. Bought the 65” nano cell mostly because of price under $800, I wasn’t mounting on wall and needed a stand on tv like this one to fit my tv table, It fit perfectly. I like the LG magic remote, setup on stand was easy, setting up tv was easy, if your somewhat technical, you can do it yourself. Like the integration of Lg app and all the apps that come with the Lg tv are great! Especially having Apple TV built in, and google assistant. However if you want to use HBO Max you still need to use an Apple TV streaming device. I use cable as well as streaming. The picture settings on the tv have to definitely be adjusted to your taste. There a times when I think the picture looks good and time when I’m frustrated and always adjusting the picture. Also as others mentioned in reviews, you do see the local dimming coming through on dark edges, and on all black screens, annoying. The sound is good on clear voice, even without sound bar. So I’m still deciding if I like it, love it, or want to return it. Didn’t buy warranty this time, so we’ll see. If you really want a great picture, I would say go with a OLED or QLED. if you want a decent picture and don’t mind adjusting your tv, this is a good priced tv with lots of perks

Love it. My dream was always to have a 75" TV but we were afraid it would overpower our not-humungous room. So we settled on this 65." The first night we got it we watched grey's anatomy and I swear I could see the actresses' LIP LINER! It was like being in the room with them - bc the screen is bigger than our previous 45", it was like the actors are more human sized. My husband and I were amazed the first night or two we had this, bright shiny new object syndome :-) We quickly habituated to it though, and like everything else you get used to it. I wish we humans weren't designed this way, with the hedonic treadmill. The Tv remains great and it's fun to watch football on it. We bought separate mid range speakers with this, so the sound is good. Great to watch lord of the rings and hobbit trilogy on :-) Feels like a practical indulgence, given the covid situation and how many hours we are spending indoors. I don't mind spending money on something I'm using hours every day - think of cost per use. This is a better buy than getting a purse or shirt for $30 and then only wearing it twice. I wish Best Buys in person would show all their TVS on the same channel (high detailed nature channels, for example) so you could compare the image quality - you have to control the variables. A lot of the Tvs at the store had like stupid graphic commercials on with no details, so I couldnt tell if the screen resolution was good. We got lucky that this image seems to be great for the price point. Has a remote that can be controlled with voice, if you want. It's bluetooth, so you can pair it with your computer so your computer screen (youtube internet etc) shows on the TV screen. I'm sure there are more options we haven't explored. So far, I really like it. I look forward to the day I can roll up TVs so when I move it'll be easy to pack. This TV is large so it took 2 people to deliver it to my door, and 2 people (me and my husband) to get it out of the box and set it upright on our living room dresser. Best Buy uses shipt to deliver apparently so I got a text when it was on its way. The delivery people were also very cool. We moved our old TV to the bedroom and now my husband and I can have our own entertainment, one TV for each of us! This has been a fun change for our marriage lol. Anyway, I'm happy with this for sure. Just excited for the day when TVS are way more portable.

We really enjoy this TV! The display is wonderful, very clear and sharp. The sound is great without any extra sound equipment. We are glad that we spent the extra money for 120hz for the great picture! 2 drawbacks stand out. 1. The remote isn't terribly user-friendly. We've had to just play around with it to figure stuff out. 2. The stand for tabletop use is less than wonderful. The large screen is only supported in the center, so the TV moves a bit when we walk about the room. This might be an issue in a home with children and large pets.

It's really nice any of the white light around the edges on a dark screen you eventually won't notice because the picture is so dam great. For the price range I don't think you can get a better picture. Remote is great menus are easy to follow. You do have to go on line and find videos to show you all the tricks the manuals simply don't go into that but hey that's true with everything now.

Really happy with the picture from this TV. I will say that my LG OLED has a better picture this one for the price is great! This is not not the everyday TV so I did not see the point in spending the additional cash for OLED this time. I thought that I would be really disappointed in the picture quality, but that is not the case. I took one star off just because it is extremely wobbly on the stand that this model comes with.
