I did a lot of research on which 4K TV to buy....I was debating on OLED or QLED. I was very inclined to get the QLED because of other Samsung TVs that we have and have been satisfied with, but after multiple visits to Best Buy and reding more on-line reviews, I went with the LG.....and I'm happy I did so. The picture quality is fabulous!

I thought 4K was just a gimmick to keep TV obsolescence going but it's hard to argue with the clarity and color difference with good content. Watching Planet Earth II with a good Ultra-HD DVD player or 4K streaming is a sublime experience. They say this LG OLED is the best and I have to agree. (Lots of) Money well spent.

I upgraded to this tv from my 65EG9600 OLED. I was skeptical that they improved enough for me to make it worth while. I was also beginning to enjoy the curved. However, once I saw the image of this TV I was blown away. It has a brighter nit level allowing for brighter colors and darker blacks. Absolutely stunning. It's slim design also makse it look like an image floating on my way. VERY pleased. Also, for those who are gamers, it has a faster refresh rate than before to where I have noticed a difference when playing.

I had some initial issues with both the channel selection (I use a universal remote) where a "0" would insert itself when typing a channel (e.g., 1127 might become 1107). There were also sound issues where the sound would arbitrarily drop to nothing or close to that, or suddenly increase for no reason. Also, when going to the smart channels (Netflix or Amazon), the sound would often start out on a movie or program -- and continue -- as a grumble. Best Buy was amazing in working with me on the problems, ultimately deciding to simply replace the television. All of the problems appear to have been fixed with the single exception of the grumbled sound on smart channels, but I can live with that because the fix is easy (back out of the title or movie) and start it again and the problem is gone, and the picture is far better than anything I've seen since my old plasma tv.

Great tv. Great service from geek squad. My first oled developed burn in. Extended warranty was well worth the $. Full replacement. Was going to replace with the Sony a1e but after reading every review I could find I went back to the lg. Great tv. A bit pricy but so worth it. If you are in the market for a new tv, spoil yourself. Go to Bestbuys great support and price match guarantee

This tv is simply put, a "work of art". The picture quality, is second to none! The HDR quality, is indescribable. It reminds me of watching a 3D movie. The soundbar is of great sound quality. Simply put, this is the best quality television that we have owned, & it is well worth the price.

For the amount of money you spend for this type of TV it's way worth it in the end the experience of watching a show or movie feels like you're in a movie theater the colors are just exceptional. And the way it looks and sets up out of the box brings a luxury feel to the room it's in.

I'd been looking for a television to replace my 12 year old TV and wasn't expecting to spend this much money, but this TV is worth the money. The OLED is amazing and the premium for the improved sound is worht it, otherwise you really need a sound bar. This is a great investment!

    Audio & Visually Blown Away!

My previous TV was one of the best rated HD Plasma's barely 9-years old before it's "main board" blew up. Without prevuing the LG OLED, I read all the reviews I could and ended up very, very pleased with my selection. The image is staggeringly beautiful and just with the sound bar(and subwoofer) the audio is perfect. I know I spent less money on this AV set up because I rid myself of my floor speaker towers, AV receiver, center channel, etc. I am very happy with this TV and the paired sound bar / woofer. I do plan on installing this TV onto an articulating bracket to gain even more floor space and improve viewing angle(s). Great OLED TV and sound bar I would very much recommend to all interested in a real treat.

Going from a $700 4K tv to this one is a sweet upgrade. It's very high quality, but still it's not like, a magical difference comparing 4K TV's. The built in sound bar is good and picture quality is awesome. Not ideal for a room where the screen will be hit with lots of natural light though, as the oleds are slightly dimmer. For this purchase, I had the money to freely spend and am happy I did. I only wish there was an Xfinity app built in so I can watch cable without the cord.

I am pleased with my selection. Even though my previous TV was a top of the line Samsung from six years back. This LG LED had vivid picture quality and color that was noticeably better.

I returned a Samsung 75" Q8C for this television, and I could not be happier! I own a 2016 65" C6P OLED, so I'm familiar with the technology. I was hesitant to believe the claims that the 2017 model OLED sets were that much better, but after less than a week with the 65" E7P, I can confirm there is a distinct improvement over last year's models. The screen is brighter, colors are better, and everything is overall faster. I am impressed with, and very pleased with this television. I would recommend it to anyone.

LG OLED - great picture with some flaws

I've been waiting many years for a successor to plasma and finally OLED has arrived. 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision and phenomenal inky blacks but there are problems, at least with my original and replacement TV. My first set had horrible vertical banding when watching any kind of low light scenes, especially noticeable with any kind of panning. I promptly set up an exchange with Best Buy and a couple of days later they delivered a new set. The second TV also had banding just not as bad as the first. Much less intrusive and I decided to keep the TV because I only see it rarely and during the most torturous scenes. However, I am now noticing a yellow tint on the left side of the screen about a foot in from the edge. I only see it on white backgrounds. I'm out of my return window and it looks as if my only option is to get LG involved to inspect this anomaly. I have never dealt with LG before but I hear their customer service is lacking. The yellow tint is very distracting especially when watching hockey or anything with ice or snow on the screen. So, in conclusion the picture quality is fantastic until either one of these anomalies appear. There is a whole thread on avsforums.com regarding the banding issue with the 2017 OLED's. Clearly LG has some quality control work to do.
