After that it started to act up like static lines across the screen along with audio freeze up. We changed HDMI chords along with a new direct tv box but its still doing it intermittently. Not happy with it right now. Best Buy said I have to take it with LG directly, because I didnt buy there extended coverage. I only had it for 6 weeks. Why would BB help me out with a $1000. purchase?

Every time I turn on the tv I get that old school white static screen. When the remote is in my pocket the pointer from the remote still shows on the screen even in the middle of watching a show. The tv is not very responsive to the remote, meaning that when you make a selection on the remote the tv takes a few seconds to actually change to your next selection. After one day of owning the tv I decided to exchange it for a Sony. I did the online chat with Best Buy and the representative was not helpful and could not answer my basic questions about Best Buy’s return policy. Not sure what to do now but I’m certainly wasting more effort than I should to get this resolved.

Spotify does not work. It takes 30 minutes to pair a device. The tv itself is loaded with ads you cannot remove. It constantly launches their LG channels without you asking (they’re just ads). Connecting a sound bar is overly complicated and the LG tv causes issues with the sound. If you buy this tv, you’ll end up having to return it and get another one.

I will say the picture is good but for a 2021 model tv i would have expected more availability of mainstreem apps. The apps I use most frequently are not available in the app store. (HBO Max, MLB TV, Discovery Plus) i would have to cast from my phone to my tv. This is just unacceptable in todays technology from such a tv giant. At a minimum they should include like a Roku stick so the tv would be functional at least. Will determine this week if returning or not.

Keep Objects Away

Its extremely user UNFRIENDLY. There is not a single intuitive feature on this TV's software and remote. Plan on wasting a lot of your time just changing channels or downloading apps. Keep in mind not all apps are available either. This TV will ask you to update the software virtually every time you turn it on with seeming no difference in functionality. Keep heavy objects away, as you may be tempted to throw them at this screen. If you do, it will be the only joyful thing to come out of this purchase.
