I needed to replace my old 20 year old Kenmore dryer and I had no idea what to get. I knew I wanted something simple but I also wanted quality and something that will last over time. I went through many products and reviews and even asked my dad for advise because he has been an appliance repair technician for 25 years. He recommended the dryer I already have... thanks dad. LOL Long story short I found this LG dryer and it's matching washer (WT5001CW) and I was very impressed at the load capacity and its features. The price at the time also caught my eye because it was on sale ($150 off). After comparing all the other brands over and over again, I found myself returning to the LG every time. So I purchased this dryer and it's matching washer, had it delivered and started washing everything I could find (white, towels, jeans, colors, darks) and I am very impressed. Don't be intimidated by the controls and the display; once you skim over the manual and start pushing buttons and turning the knob to the desired dry cycle, you quickly realize that it is just as easy to use as your old school dryer. I highly recommend this dryer. I should also mention that when I told my dad which dryer I went with, he told me that they just received a demo and training from LG two weeks ago and he was very impressed with the changes they have made to the motor and the over all design. Coming from a man that has serviced dryers most of his life, that says alot.

My first new dryer in 20 years is wonderful. It is quiet, dries quickly and sings a tune when finished. I just got it yesterday and think it's the best dryer I've ever had. It matches the LD 12 cycle washing machine and they look so pretty together. Another feature I like is the light inside when I open the door. Can see all the clothes without fishing around to be sure I haven't missed any. The lint trap is easy to reach and clean. Here's a shout out to the delivery crew - respectful, on time, knowledgeable, careful, and showed me how to operate both the washer and dryer.

So far this electric dryer has been great, the features are plentiful. Some highlights about this product include: • It is fairly quiet and doesn't cause vibrations throughout the house with a main floor laundry room. Our laundry room is located next our master bedroom and there is some noise but very minimal. • Numerous preset and customizable settings • LED Lights • Stainless steel drum • A sturdy lint trap for collection One unique thing this dryer has, which many newer dryers have, is the drying rack that you can set items on that you don’t want to bang around in the drying drum. It works great for shoes amongst other various items that you don’t want to spin around. In my opinion, a dryer is a dryer and you can get just about any brand at a lesser price and it will do the same but we wanted to have matching appliances. From the energy guide, it says this electric dryer doesn’t consume much energy in comparison to older electric models but everyone mentions how much more efficient a gas dryer is. I guess that’s another debate, nonetheless, this has been a great purchase to date.

This dryer is absolutely worth the price. It gives you multiple standard settings and allows you to program your own setting if you want. It drys clothes quickly and and works equally well on delicate clothes to towels. I like the large capacity and the drying rack is great for things you don't want bouncing around. I like the little tune it plays when your clothes are done rather than an annoying buzzer.

My wife and I wanted to upgrade our energy in-efficient appliances after receiving this years tax return. We shopped around for several weeks and researched a variety of models (and from a variety of vendors). After all was said and done, we bought this appliance and we don't regret the purchase in the least. Not only did we get a great deal (at Best Buy), we have noticed a positive difference in our utility bills. We will definitely consider both this brand and place of purchase again the next time we are in the market for an appliance (but hopefully not anytime soon!).

I have to confess, i have never been one for spending big sums on washers/dryers, but when my old GE ones died a near-simultaneous death I decided to do some research and go for higher-tech machines. I am so glad I did! I looked at customer reviews on a few sites and decided on these LGs, they arrived and the installation guys were GREAT (they had to hand-cart down a long alley to my garage/basement) - tried them out the same day and I was so impressed. Clothes are super-clean, machines are easy to use and very quiet, the dryer is very quick and with enough settings to ensure i won't shrink my clothes (again.) It's only been a month or two, so we'll see but so far i LOVE them both.

Can't say enough about the quality and size of the LG cloths dryer. Its super big inside and very quiet on the outside. You can barely notice it is on. If it wasn't for the glass front door you wouldn't know it was on. Its so big you can easily dry a comforter and all the sheets at the same time. As for price, I got it for $300.00 less then Sears or Home Depot had it for. Another good thing was the delivery, set up and removal was all free. Can't say the same for the other two stores.

I already bought the matching washer and liked it so much when I had to upgrade the dryer less than a month later this was an easy choice. It is very quiet and does a bang up job getting my clothes dry with no wrinkles and no lint. Highly recommend this dryer.

Got the matching washer and dryer combo. Love them both! The dryer has more than enough features. LED dials are easy to read and once again are hi - tech components. LG was recommended by the sales rep and I am totally pleased I didn't go with Maytag or Samsung. The rep pointed out flaws in the other models. Thank you Best Buy for the valued insight!

I like really like the dryer. You can hardly hear it running. With the dryer and the new large capacity washer, I find myself washing larger loads but less times during the week, so it's saving me time which is important and the clothes dry faster too. I would highly recommend the dryer it you work outside the home and time is important.

We've had the dryer a week now and I think I'm in love!!! Does a great job drying clothes in half the time of my old dryer and clothes don't come out full of wrinkles. The control panel is awesome...I normally don't care for beeper/alarms to signal the end of the drying cycle and have shut them off on previous dryers but this one is not annoying at all.

The washer is also very efficient as well. It also has multi settings for washing. Bonus...tub clean! Once the delivery men finished installing both washer and dryer we immediately started using them. The soaking feature takes away the need to use the sink. It's very easy for the 10 year old to do own laundry! Very happy with my set!

It works great and is very efficient. It has a lot of settings that I use. It is large enough to do comforters and drys them the first cycle. I love this dryer!

Bought this online based on my sister's recommendations. So happy I listened to her. Purchase was easy; delivery was on time and quick; and I absolutely love the dryer's performance.

This dryer was exactly what I was looking for - large capacity, great features, everything I need! It dries very quickly and I love the sensor drying. The matching washing machine is a must have too!

This dryer is awesome. Regardless of what u set the dryer for it will determine if the clothes need a shorter time and save you $.

This is a great appliance. I love all the settings and how quickly it does the job. It has a great appearance and plays a wonderful little tune when the cycle is done (as opposed to a loud buzzer).

We bought these about a month and a half ago and so far they have been great. My wife loves them. We bought the matching washer and by the time the washer is through spinning them, they are already dry so this dryer doesn't have to work very hard.

i love how it dries the clothes and is really big inside. it make a cool ring at the ens there is alot of setings but cotton seems to work fine for us. i love LG products got it on sale for black friday with the washer for 1300.00
