We replaced our old dryer that came with our house when we bought it, the old GE dryer was ok until it broke down which I guess was bitter sweet since we had been considering replacing it before it broke down. We love the dryer especially when it finishes; it sings a jingle at the end. It is also cool that you can link it to your cell phone to let you know when it is finished; which to me is somewhat unnecessary. Overall, we are please with the dryer

Best Buy has been great in replacing my faulty driers, but I am on my third LG DLEX5680W drier with the squeak or other noises. My first one squeaked whenever it ran. The second one made an almost grinding sound. The third one squeaks occasionally. My laundry room is off my living room and the noises interfere with listening to music and watching TV. Anyone else have this issue or am I unlucky to get 3 bad ones?

Dries medium loads in about a half hour. Big capacity. Comes with interior drying rack. Reversible door. And interior light.

Tried and true. I wish they still made this dryer!

We have been wanting a new washer dryer set for a while and this one has everything we could ever want. Highly recomended.

Good dryer. It dries my clothes well and senses how dry they are and adjusts the timer accordingly

I loved this dryer until last week when a burning smell started to occur. I made sure that there was no lint buildup, which there was not. I called best buy to get someone to come out because i purchased the extended 5 year warranty, which I'm glad i did. After 2 hours of being on the phone i was told they couldn't send someone out until the 24th of September( 10 days later). I called everyday and was able to get someone to come out yesterday. The motor is done already it needs to be replaced. I am so mad i have not even finished paying this off yet.i have owned LG washers and Dryers in the past never had a problem until now. The dryer is great until it broke I'm more annoyed with how best buy and the warranty company handled this situation.

This dryer meets our needs, It is quiet and dries clothes quickly. We had a minor problem with the door opening the wrong way but that has been remedied. We're very happy with this purchase.

This dryer has worked perfectly from day one. The delivery men were great too. Have not begun to use all the features yet.

Brought this dryer and washer as we wanted to upgrade from our old and trusted Kenmore which was working even after almost 10 years of servicing us dry our laundry. Brought the 5680V dryer from best buy, Fargo ND and it worked fine for about 1 1/2 year and then it stopped. We turned on the dryer to wash a load and the Dashboard display showed drying,...however the drum refused to rotate. I then tried using their LG Diagnostic service app to identify the problem and the app suggested no issues. After doing a lot of research online to find the fault called LG Customer service. After providing all the information they provided me with contact details of a service center Home Make Villa in Moorhead, MN. On contacting them the next day the service center said that they do not service LG as they have not received approval from LG for servicing LG appliances. Funny how LG website shows they are the authorized service center and when contacted the service center they refused to service the product.. Contacted LG customer service again and told them about the problem with the service center they provided. The rep still insisted that they are the approved providers. I had to finally look for other service providers to fix the problem...... Decided never again will I buy a LG product....!
