I just did a review on the washer that pairs up with this dryer and I would most definitely recommend the product. I can load up the washing machine with 2 or 3 weeks worth of clothes, and then put everything in the dryer, press Start and when I return to it about 45 minutes later, everything is dry. One thing I didn't mention in the review of the washer is that I use the Pods as my laundry detergent. Not sure if it's the Pods or the washer and dryer, but static cling never seems to be an issue. I purchased this set when it was on sale and I have to say it is one of the best investments I made this year. One tip for the dryer - make sure the vent in the back is setup correctly. Initially, the one I was using (which was one that was hooked up to another dryer), had small holes in it, and was very short. It was working, but my clothes didn't feel 'dryer hot" when I took them out. I went to best buy and purchased a new vent kit for $29 (USD). I hooked it up myself and stretched it out to about 6 feet. I get a much better drying cycle now. Not sure why a shorter vent doesn't work as well, but I don't care. I spent about an hour working on it and it was much worth the effort. Also, the guys who delivered the washer and dryer actually set them up for me (which I wasn't expecting). They did it quick and started to run a wash cycle so that I could verify there were no water leaks. I was impressed, since I knew at the time I couldn't have hooked it up myself.

The dryer dries your clothes perfectly every time. No need to keep adding time to the drier...it's smart and knows when your clothes are dry. The only issue with the dryer was that I was restricted on space from and back when the door is open. Venting from the back meant that the dryer would stick out too far and I wouldn't be able to open the door. Luckily, the dryer can be vented from the bottom. The only problem with this is that venting from the bottom is not the easiest task. With a hack saw there is enough material under the machine to fabricate the the tube to need to stop short and then vent down...then you can by a $3 tube elbow and install it...but it's a tight fit for the hands to put it all together. Then, you need to fabricate a lift stand to put it on. I used some 2x4s and extra subfloor I had lying around. Just be warned that if you want to vent it from the bottom, it will take some work, extra tubing, and aluminum tape. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the dryer itself and its drying.

A great buy, our old dryer broke on a weekend to a point of unrepairable state as per hubby and needed a new one that we could bring home that same day. We found this as floorstock diaplay at a discounted price, of 400usd plus 25%off w/c was a steal. The dryer has a huge capacity like that of a commercial one. Turned on the moment it was plugged in and pressed the ON button. Features are so up to date with technology. It has a sensor drying features that is ecofriendly and saves on electric consumption. Clothes dries fast. I had this dryer for 3mos now and still I am happy with its performance everytime I use it. It is my first LG product purchase and definitely a good one.

this unit is very easy to operate an extremely quiet I was also impressed with the shortness of time to dry the clothes. It is an extremely good value

This dryer is PERFECT! I was a little skeptical at first of the fact that it cools down prior to being done because I like to fold my clothes while they're still hot. However this has not been an issue at all. I was surprised because I read on many reviews that the little jingle that it plays to let you know that it is done was not loud enough. I have not experienced this at all! I have a ranch home and I can hear it in every room. I definitely wouldn't say that its too loud, I'd say its just right! Bottom line, buy this dryer! You will not be disappointed!

Our old dryer stopped working. After an Internet search I determined it was a fuse but repair was not a simple reset or just plugging in a new fuse. Since the dryer was an older model and inefficient, we decided to buy a new one. This LG model had all the features my spouse wanted. I checked online and this model was out of stock at our local Lowes but Best Buy had it stock for delivery in two days. It was delivered as promised and the dryer exceeds our expectations. It is much larger than our previous one, quieter, and drys faster. It is not a steam dryer but that was a feature we didn't think we would use much and might cause more repair problems in the future.

Great dryer. I am drying clothes in half the time with less wrinkles of my old dryer. The machine is quiet and user friendly.

Large capacity is great for quilters. Like the options for timed and sensor drying. Has taken some time to figure which is best but well worth it. Love the customer service and store associates. Took 3 tries to get the dryer installed correctly. Outsourced delivery and install company...not so crazy about them.

After using a 30 year old dryer for EVER, I broke down and replaced it. Didn't really do any research, just trust the LG name and this thing is nice. It's quiet and the dry time was ridiculously fast, and it has more settings than I'll ever use. Really nice to have the lint catcher right up front AND I found out it has a light inside. I know, I'm way to easy to please.

I've had this washer for about a month. The settings are easy to put in with each wash, depending on what's in the load. I especially like the Speed Wash that gets it done in about 30 minutes. The machine is also quiet and I appreciate the little jingle reminder when it's finished.

I've had this dryer for about 8 months, and it has worked great so far. I purchased this as an open box item from my local Best Buy (display model). Dries quickly and has all the settings I need. Very large capacity to get big loads dry in a short time.

This machine is fabulous. Huge, quiet, effective Sings a little tune instead of a loud buzz. Clothes are dry the first time and smell awesome. I spent weeks doing consumer research before deciding on a new W/D set for my Momma Bear and am totally satisfied because Momma is satisfied. The massive capacity of the dryer capable of taking entire bed sets, large loads of towels and huge loads of jeans.
