Purchased this dryer after my 12 year old Maytag died. I have had the dryer for over a month and absolutely love it. With a family of six, we have a lot of laundry and this dryer is a large capacity and drys very quickly. I would highly recommend this LG dryer.

I like the flexibility of the controls for each aspect of the drying. I can custom dry certain kinds of loads very easily. Simple to operate and does a good job drying things. I love the large capacity.

Dries quickly and it senses when clothes are dry !! Saving time & electricity. Does not over dry. Huge lint screen-- pulls out dog hairs from dog's blanket.

My old dryer finally went out, so I went to Best Buy to find a new one. This LG was on sale. Got it delivered and they had to show me how to use it. My how times have changed! There are so many bells and whistles, I haven't figured it out yet, but I love the dryer! Every time it starts and ends, a little tune plays and I think the ice cream truck is coming down the street! You can set it to run until your clothes are dry, which I love! It automatically stops when they are dry. I would recommend this LG DLE4970W.

My family find this dryer to be, easy to use and efficient. The quietness is awesome, the signal when completed drying is so pleasant.

Have been using this dryer with the matching washer for about a month, now; and am happy with both, but more so with the washer. The dryer does a good job of drying and has an excellent sensor for checking the dryness and will turn off. The turn-off signal sounds like a little bird, but not that annoying. The only thing is the capacity seems a little cramp, for an ultra-large size dryer. But overall I am pleased.

Bought this along with an lg washing machine.....totally in love with these appliances. Energy efficient and easy to use.

The LG 7.3 cu. ft 8 cycle electric dryer does everything as promised! Very easy to use and the dryer capacity is very large. The dryer has a cool down so the clothes are still warm but not Hot like my previous dryer. Love the little jingle at the end that notifies me the clothes are dry. Very happy with this purchase.

We've had the dryer over a month and my wife is still commenting on how much she likes it. Quiet and super efficient! Easy to use.

Love the sensor that once the clothes are dry it stops. Seems to conserve a lot of energy. Also a shorter dry time.

So many options and performance is true to settings. Live it. Dries well!
