This dryer works well, I've had it for six months and have had no problems with it. I just discovered that even though it comes with many cycle options, you can download more to your phone then sit your phone on the dryer and they download to the dryer for use.

This machine works very well. Just make sure you try to dry same material clothing, otherwise jeans mixed with other faster drying material may still be moist. If you do not like the many options you can always time it and set the temp to high. Much more efficient than my previous Whirlpool. I can dry our scrubs in 20 minutes.

The computer control panel is easy to understand and use. With no agitator on our LG washer, there is far less lint in the dryer filter. We noticed this especially after a few weeks of washer use when our clothes were gotten clean, but without any agitator abuse. The "Delicate" cycle allows fine washables to dry partially and hung to finish or to add more time and dry perfectly. This is a real time saver. As our LG washer and dryer power on and off with a computer tune, we've taken to calling them C3PO #1 and #2!

I had the matching washer already and when my old dryer stopped working, I knew I wanted a matching set. This dryer is a lot larger in terms of capacity it holds. It does take a long time to dry compared to my older dryer. Price wise I guess it was in the middle. A necessary evil-it’s not like you can’t have a dryer.

Purchased Whirlpool Cabrio 2 years ago. Would take upwards of 3 hours to dry load of towels. Already bought matching LG washing machine a couple months earlier so we bought this to pair with. From the first load this machine dries in less than 1/3 the time it took with old machine. Have not had 1 issue with this dryer

I purchased this cause my 20-year-old GE was crapping out. So far I noticed that on energy saver mode, it takes 1 hr to dry clothes and some feel slightly damp after drying. I will play around more with higher heat settings. Also, the phone app for diagnosis and downloadable drying programs does not work. How ever for the price I'm not expecting too much, i just need something that will last me at least 5 years. Pro: front panel buttons size cons: -the door is big and my wife does not like that she can't put a laundry basket before opening the door under it to scoop out clothes (minor issue) - eco mode still leave clothes feeling damp - the LG app for you phone does not work (can't download it) so diagnosis by phone is none existent along with downloadable dryer programs.

I like the choices for drying. I wish the notification that the dry cycle is done was louder. Mine is in the basement and I can't hear the tone upstairs. It's similar to a ring tone for phones. My old dryer had a loud buzzer noise

Thought something was wrong with the dryer at first as it would shut off before the clothes were dry. Maintenance man discovered that the front of the dryer needs to be lower than the back as the sensors are in the front & the clothes need to be tossed against the door so the dryer can sense when clothes are dry. Since that adjustment was made, it works perfectly!
