Since I've only had this LG for a month I can't say much about reliability.

very quiet, dries quickly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our last unit was also an LG but an element had gone bad and was no longer drying completely even after an hour with a standard load. This unit dries an over-sized load in 41 min on medium heat. The door can be flipped, which we needed to do, about 20 minutes (and 26 screws) but not really difficult. My wife is very happy which means the whole house is happy. Only had unit for just over a month, will check back with durability.
