Very nice machine. Black looks nice, but is high maintenance as it needs to be wiped down often as dust shows immediately and smoked glass shows fingerprints immediately. That's the trade off for a dark color. Machine comes in lighter color if that's an issue. We needed to have the door open the other way; the instructions for accomplishing this were straight forward and it was easy to do. Took about 45 min. Door has a two way opening feature so it can be opened from the top and side. Very nice feature. Controls pretty intuitive to use and didn't require the use of the manual. Previous LG machines we've owned had choices for signal volume control and custom load features that could be programmed for loads that are frequently used, nice features that are missing in this newer machine. Not a deal breaker, but they should've kept those feature in. Haven't tried the SMART features yet, but maybe there is something in that feature that can be utilized. The lint trap is a fold-able type where one needs to open it to remove the lint and close it again; possible weak point when opening and closing each load. We are happy with the machine overall and would recommend it.

I bought the LG washer/dryer set after 3 days of searching. I absolutely love this set. Large capacity, Fits a King Comforter easy. Love all the features it has. AI wash, deep wash and deep fill work great. It is super quiet during operation. The app is definitely a plus to have. Very satisfied with this purchase. No regrets!!!

Love the new dryer! The color looks amazing and the quality of the clothing comes out of the dryer is clean and dry no need for several cycles in the dryer.

Very modern-looking, available in black or white. Digital menu options are user-friendly and easy to understand (if you aren't a manual reader!). The door can open to the front or the side. Huge capacity--can fit a King-size comforter. The lint tray in front requires you to remove it, then open it to remove the lint. Has a wifi feature where you can change the tune it plays when clothes are done, which is kind of fun! Will also send a notification to your phone when clothes are dry.

This product is good for drying large loads and has a dual opening door. can open like a hinged door and can open from the top. Makes loading and unloading easier.

Very easy to use and very good capacity plus very smart looking

It does its job really well, gives us no issues, has PLENTY of space, and dries everything the first time you run a load through it.

We had an LG front load set for over 15 plus years and the washer needed new bearings and a drive motor. So we decided it was time to purchase a new LG set, so after a ton of research we found these LG capacity top load set and bonus they were on sale. My wife loves all of the options, we have a lot of LG products at our house and we can control them all from our phones which is awesome. the dryer does an excellent job of dryer our clothes. Plus my wife like they look of them as well, so there that LOL

I bought the LG DLE8400BE dryer with the matching top load washer. The dryer is quiet, functions well, and looks good. The only thing I dislike is the lint filter. While I like the very fine mesh that catches more lint, I do not like the multi-panel framing and the clam shell design. It makes it too awkward to quickly remove the lint. Although this is just a minor issue, I feel LG could do better to make lint removal more convenient instead of having to dig lint out of eleven framed panels while trying to hold the clam shell open. While emptying this lint filter is a PITA, it does not detract from the overall satisfaction of the dryer. Others may disagree, but I like everything else about this dryer.

Machine is very quite and cleans king size comforter with no issues.

Great dryer, esthetically well presented. I baught this dryer a year ago, and so far nothing but praise. I recommend this dryer, and I would buy it again.

Very efficient! Quiet and quick! I love how quickly it does the job!

I really enjoy the dryer its efficent, speedy and has so many different settings including an ai function. The door opens two different ways which makes it super convenient and a joy to use.
