    Sleek design and easy to use. I love how quick my clothes are dried and the smart dry design that ensures clothes are actually dry and not partially damp. The two way entry is unique. Unfortunately I was unable to connect it to my phone through the app however that doesn't bother me since there have been zero problems with my loads being fully dry after one cycle. I enjoy the music played at the end of the dry cycle letting my know my load is finished. I'm pleased with my new dryer and would recommend.

    After moving from an apartment into a house, we were excited to have a large washer and dryer set. This LG washer & dryer do not disappoint. There are a variety of settings and the units are super easy to operate. Would highly recommend.

    I love the easy load door -- so much easier. Easy to scratch though -- I put the basket on top of the dryer and it put a huge scratch on the top of the dryer. I wouldn't put anything but clothes on top now.

    LG model # DLE8400BE - 7.3 cu. ft. Rear Control Electric Dryer with Built-In Intelligence. We took delivery of the dryer in December 2024. The lint trap is plastic and open and closes. As such it will eventually break. It should have hinges are another type of open and close design. This does not trap lint any better than the LG model we purchased 12 years ago. The top of the dryer is slopped so you cannot place folded laundry or anything else on the dryer as it will slide off. The drying time overall lasts 10 to 15 minutes too long (even when set on medium for dryness). The light stays on when the dryer door closes. This is not useful and is an energy waist.

    I do like my dryer, problem the settings are hard to see on the dark panel. Also no pamphlet ( instructions) must be downloaded online. This is hard for seniors.

    I’ve only had it a month. So far the machine has worked flawlessly. We like the color and the ability to put clothes in after the cycle has started. Would give it five stars, but haven’t had it long enough.

    BE AWARE that the EASY LOAD door does NOT open all the way flat which is what i was expecting. This is only a problem if opening top/down. You can still use SWING open for tradition use. I wish they showed a video of the EASYLOAD to show it does not open all the way. Kind of misleading. Also app doesnt work but thats whatever because its not a big loss, just something i figured would work seamlessly. Got it at adiscount for buying matchign washer/dryer.
