Very quiet and so many options it's great! I don't foresee needing a new one for many years!

I've only had this dryer for two weeks, but thus far I'm thrilled with the suite of LG laundry items I purchased. This dryer can handle huge loads of laundry (as can the washer). It's VERY quiet. It looks great! I'm NOT an ironer, so I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the steam.

Only have had for a couple weeks but very clean and efficient. Dries well and very quiet

It's work great quit and and energy efficient I do refer to all my friends

No noise while it is ON, The size is opt for even 6 members family

I bought this as the matching pair with my 4.5cuft washer. It dries very well. It is quiet and has a large variety of settings, including settings to reduce drying time. It's in my garage and the finished CHIME is not very loud so we use a baby monitor to listen for it to finish.

Good dryer, very functional. Big capacity. I can use it to dry my king size down comforter. Just one concern, the manual book didn't explain the purpose of each function. I don't know what "freshen up" does. It is not like the manual of washer, it explains much clearly.

First off, this is a great dryer and would buy it again in a second. Only negative is that it seems to take longer than expected to dry clothes. This is even on a higher temp setting. When done, everything is dry, no matter how much or what you put in there, which is awesome. Has very large capacity drum. Very quiet. No vibration. Many different settings to suit all needs. Looks great on its pedestal and next to the matching washer. Very happy with the purchase.

I was a bit skeptical that I didn't need a water hookup for the steam part of this dryer but the skepticism was dispelled upon installation. You simply load a water container and insert it in to a drawer on the dryer just like you load detergent in the washer. It uses only about half the capacity for a stem cycle that's done well for us (5-person family). Capacity is large and comes with a rack to put things like shoes, hats, etc on and dry those as well. Bonus: Any time the "I'm done" tone plays, my 2 year old stops whatever he's doing and dances. Personally I find it a tad bit annoying and miss the days of buzzers you could hear wherever you were in the house.

LG 7.4 Steam dryer has been great. I 'thought' the water for steam could be directly plumbed (with a Y connector from the washer) but Not on this model. You just add water to the front top small drawer (this works fine and is located and looks the same as the soap/softner on the matching 4.5 LG washer).

So far perfect dryer. Bought the matching set and my wife could not be happier. From sales to delivery, it could not have been better. In our opinion Best Buy is the leader in appliances. We went to Best Buy after we shopped all the other. By far Best Buy lived up to the "Best" in their name.

Really large and able to dry all items evenly. I love the steam feature ability.

I am very happy with the dryer as it does not over dry my clothes. I usually use a timed dried it takes about 20 minutes - that saves me time and electricity. For the towels and big items normal cycle. Never tried the refresh function yet. So can't comment on that.

I have not owned the dryer long but it works like a dream. Once the load has been selected you cannot change the setting unless you turn off the machine. The dryer is quite large so it can dry a large comforter without issue. It contains the sensor and steam dry. I have not used the steam function as of the time of this review. The sensor is quite sensative. If the sensor is tripped the dryer will cool down and turn off and alarm to let you know there is an issue. I love this dryer and I am so thankful it was on sale when I purchased it. This is truly a great buy.

This is my first steam dryer and I like it. Clothes come out winkle free and without any odors. I also like that I can sanitize things. Drum is large enough for a king size comforter.

This is the best unit we have personally ever had as a family. We have had several different styles of units. We have only had it for a few months so far. We love all the options and extra features this unit offers. We love the steam feature. We also like how quite it is. Would buy again. Now let's wait and see how long it will last.

Very Quiet. It is working wonderfully so far. I can't hear it from the bedroom or the living room both close to the laundry room.

The dryer is quiet. The steam feature that removes wrinkles out of cloths works very well and works quickly. The dryer defaults to energy efficiency mode when it starts. The mode works well and gets the cloths dry but it does take longer. If you don't have time to wait the other regular modes will get the job done quicker. The drying rack is a nice feature and works well for shoes or sweaters that need to lay flat when they dry. The inside light is great. Very pleased.
