This LG washer works great, but… I can't give a five star rating to this because I specifically, after lots of research, purchased this LG washer because it had the option of a side vent. My laundry room is very small and is set up to be able to vent from the side. I have to give the Best buy salesman and the sales manager credit. They really tried with me. They actually were able to purchase a side vent kit for me. But the geek squad refused to install it. Eventually they agreed to allow me to hire an external appliance repair man to install it and they would pay for it. If I had known that it would take 30 days to get the side vent installed I probably would've gone to a Home Depot or Lowe's.

Awesome drier. Was able to switch the doors on the drier to work better in my space. Sensor for dry clothes is a little to sensitive. Getting damp clothes at times.

Great dryer but horrible installation problem. Bought this dryer for side vent option and sales person ordered me a side vent package. Review said it worked well. When it was delivered they had the wrong venting package. Had to go back to Best Buy and order a side vent package. I had to wait over a week for it. When the repair installation crew came out to install it they said they weren't allowed to install the side vent. Eventually Best Buy had to hire an external appliance repair person to install it. This process took three weeks. Sales manager was excellent trying to get the problem resolved but he kept running into internal blocks at Best Buy. All's well that ends well.

There are a lot of options on this. I have used steam once. I'd use it again. It also has a stationary rack that can be placed inside to dry shoes or something you don't want bouncing around.

Absolutely love this dryer. It's super large, quiet, and I love the tune it plays when the load is done.

I bought this dryer at the same time I bought my washing machine and like the washing machine I am trying to get use to all the cycles but love it and have had no problems so far.

Gets clothes dry. Runs quietly. What more can you ask? Nothing. That's what more you can ask.

This is a very good dryer for large items it works quickly and it is very efficient

It has more settings than I know what to do with. I'm just used to an old fashioned dry cycle, but the options make me feel better about drying all my clothes

The dryer works great without any issues. We love the steam clean option on this dryer. I tried it on one of my jacket and it worked exceptionally well.

I bought this dryer allong with the 4.5 front load steam washer, I've only had it for a couple weeks now but am very happy with my purchase. I'm learning about it's many features and haven't begun to use them all. I really like the light in the tub so I can see all the way to the back, it's quite large so will easily hold large bedding. It dried a king size quilt nicely.

So many options to choose from and does and great job and I love that it has wrinkle protection just in case you let your laundry sit for a while.

Overall its working great so far. I feel theres a need for the sensor dry to improve the detection and performance. Except that, its great

This dryer doesn't perform like my other flat top LG. The clothes are consistently wrinkled, you have to be super aware of the fabrics you put in together. If one item dries faster, the dryer senses that and won't dry the other items without upping the amount of 'dry' you really want. And it's got this funky water container that you have to fill in order to get the steam cycles. I REALLY don't like that. A different LG hooks straight up to water so that the steam cycles can happen as needed and on demand without popping out that little plastic container, filling that up and then hoping the steam cycle works and doesn't just leave your clothes wet. Also, since this unit has that water container, if you do stack them? And you don't happen to be taller than say, 5'6"? You can't reach that slide out drawer to get the container out to fill it without a step stool. (I'm 5'10" and it's a stretch for me). :-(

Had some squeaking after a few days, but working great. I really like the smaller depth since I had difficulty finding a washer/dryer set that would fit in the closet
