Replaced a 17 year old stacked Frigidaire Laundry unit. The old dryer took 2+ cycles to dry. This always works in a single cycle.

For my review it was bought open box was easy to assemble and use. Did not give 5 stars because I have two toddlers and they can interrupt the drying process because it can’t lock.

I like the dryer, works well. To really dry I make sure to select high, toned dry otherwise, Some settings leave clothes just shy of dry. This is good for delicates, or linens that I may want to iron

The washer and dryer are very quiet and sing you a little tune when you’re close to finished. So far there have been no problems whatsoever, they are full-size set, and I would recommend them for anyone.

This is an excellent washer with a dry sensor so it will stop earlier if needed and save electricity. It complements my LG washer well. I wish it can last as long as my previous LG washer/dryer as those have been going for 15+ years. Doing laundry is tolerable now with my new appliances.

Easy installation. So far no problems, everything comes out very dry. It should come with the power cable.

Bought it for my wife to use during winter when we get snowed in lol.. Very good dryer in every way.. Absolutely no complaints at all..

Quiet, dries so well !, setup was easy and so easy to use!

We were initially pleased with this dryer - it functioned as advertised. However, it recently started making a loud banging noise with every turn of the drum (as if there was a heavy shoe in the dryer). After consulting the internet, I opened it up and found that the drum had started to split along the welded seam (picture attached). The owner's manual states that the drum is under a parts warranty for 10 years. OK, called LG and asked for a new drum. However... they will not send a part directly to me. They can only send it to an authorized repair technician. Long story short, it will cost a minimum of $289 for diagnosis/repair of the drum (that I can already see is defective and can replace myself). After 9 days and several rounds of calls to LG (for a combined 2 hours, 20 minutes and counting), I have not been able to speak to anyone who can authorize either sending the part to me or covering the cost of the diagnosis/repair, even though it is clearly a defective part. Extremely frustrating to be spending this much time and energy on the problem, and still have no working dryer, during the holiday season.

So far it has worked great! Knock on wood - it is no secret that appliances seem to fail with too much regularity - so I don’t want to jinx myself (as the fridge beeps in the kitchen).

Great dryer! Not too complicated but has plenty of choices for dry level, temp, wrinkle care, and length of time drying as well as number of choices for what goes into dryer.

This is my first LG appliance. It’s ver simple and easy to use. I am very happy with the sales experience and personnel at Best Buy.
