    The dryer continually has error codes and will not dry clothes. Worked continually with an LG representative troubleshooting ect., and I cannot get this dryer replaced or fixed!

    Dryer works well but they forgot the steam kit and I have to move things around again when they return. Also, the vent came off and it was a big hassle to put back as there is no room to get behind the dryer. Not a happy customer.

    Dryer Filter Snags and Ruins Clothing

    I received this product 9 days ago and began using it today and the filter has already snagged an item of my clothing. A quick online search shows this is a known problem and I refuse to have my clothing destroyed by a defective dryer. Will be returning asap.

    Everything went well until we had an issue with our brand new dryer. It was almost impossible to get the help we needed and was impossible to actually speak to someone.

    Doesn’t dry clothes the first time around..doesn’t connect to our WiFi but the washer does. Very disappointed in the product.

      This issue is typically caused by 3 separate issues.

      1. Dryer is overloaded - Try dividing extra large loads into smaller loads for better drying performance and efficiency.

      2. Dyer is underloaded - If you are drying a very small load, add a few extra items to ensure proper tumbling action. The sensor cannot properly sense the load and may shut off too soon. We recommend using a timed dry or add some extra wet clothes to the load.

      3. Energy Saver is on - If using the Cotton/Normal cycle, deselect the Energy Saver option. This option reduces energy use by adding an air dry section to the beginning of the cycle.

      It may be necessary to do a deep cleaning of the lint filter cavity and exhaust vent to remove any obstruction preventing air circulation.

      Let me help you with getting connected to the ThinQ app. Before we begin I recommend checking the distance between the washer and the wireless router to make sure that they are close enough together to achieve a strong signal. Next turn off the mobile data or cellular data on your smartphone and connect your smartphone to the wireless router. Once these steps are done we need to check your router settings. Your washer supports a 2.4 GHz frequency and will not work if your router is set to 5 GHz. If the firewall on your wireless router is enabled, I will need you to disable the firewall or add an exception to it. The wireless network name (SSID) should be a combination of letters and numbers only, if that is not the case you will need to change your password. Also the recommended security protocol for your router is WPA2. Once you have made these adjustments you just need to download the app again or if it is already downloaded, please go to Settings > Edit Product and reregister your washer to the new WIFI settings.

    My dryer broke in first 4 weeks. So I won’t recommend it. I am returning it to get the same one again. We will see how it goes.
