This purchase was to replace a 5 year old LG dryer that was going to require a second $600 repair. Nope! I purchased a second LG dryer because it was highest rated dryer in Consumer Reports, so best bad choice. I have found that the new LG dryer works/dries much better/faster than the old dryer.

So I purchase this unit to match my new washer as I was replacing my 2008 LG set that finally reached end of life. The dryer is very similar to my last one. More features. This one has a water tab hook-up instead of a pan to fill. Nice. I might get an inline filter to keep the unit clean from sediment. I have not used the wifi feature yet. I did get scared a couple of weeks ago. It did not seem to be drying as well as my older unit was (I had replaced the heater element a while back) and then I realized it has a button for energy saver mode. I will have to read up on that one. Not sure what the use case is for it yet. But I turned it off and the larger loads were drying as expected.

Great dryer so far. Love all of the options and have used most so far. Quiet as well. Got it for during a great sale which allowed me to upgrade to this model. My only regret is not buying the stands to raise it some.

I am so impressed on how quite these are. And is you add the installation of the steamer your clothes won’t wrinkle. They are very quiet also.

Purchased to replace my previous dryer which had taken its last breath after years of service. Did a bit more research and decided to go with the LG Smart Electric Dryer. I've been using the item for many months now and with a few exceptions (consistent with product production in the 21st Century) I have enjoyed the dryer. Especially like the link to my phone letting me know when a tub is finished so I can get my laundry completed in a shorter period of time.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. The washer and dryer work so well and they are very easy to use. There is an option to do a fast, turbo wash which is just under 20 minutes and clothes came out clean and fresh. The set also looks very nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new set!

The dryer looks good and performs well. I like that I can sync the washer and dryer. It allows the dryer to know if you ran washing cycle of towels, the dryer is set for drying towels. Nice touch. The dryer is also to manual set and go.

Love this dryer! So easy to use! With linking the dryer to the LG app, it notifies me when it is finished and any other things I need to know about the dryer.

This dryer is simple to use and does a good job of drying my clothes properly on a particular dryer setting. It is sensitive to the length of the dryer hose, I get an unnecessary error message after drying my clothes. It is also has a lint sensor which is nice to have.

This is an excellent product with every possible function that one could need.
