This TV was a real game changer for us! The light that streams into our room at different angles throughout the day does not interfere with our ability to watch it, and I don't feel the need to go looking for my glasses, thanks to the vivid clarity and size. I find myself noticing and appreciating small background details in old movies and shows for the first time, and this TV sure does justice to the the hi-tech evolution of cinematic arts. Pure wow!
The biggest surprise was decent sound quality. I've been in no rush to buy a soundbar, even though that was in my original plan. It has so many features and an easy to use interface.
A favorite moment was the ease of using our internet connection on it to be able to show our daughter's wedding video on such a large screen!
Can't say enough about the efficiency of both the sales team, customer service, and installation teams at Best Buy. Opted to have this TV wall-mounted by Best Buy with wires snaked behind the wall! What a difference that makes.
I made my purchase based on the wonderful ability of my online sales person to answer my questions, in addition to reading Best Buy product reviews, as well as tech expert reviews. I chose to make the purchase from Best Buy thanks to the outstanding past experience I have always received from them. I am someone with very little free time in my life, so efficiency and quality service make a world of difference. I could not have been happier with my experience.

The LG G3 (77 inch) with MLA technology is a top-notch premium display! The image is breath-taking especially with HDR content, which can be found online by searching for HDR videos.
Its smart TV capabilities are as good as there is. I personally love the remote too. This set completes my 3 TV replacement effort for now as it joins the C1 65 inch; and G2 55 inch.
Best Buy wall mounted it for me today 9/8/23 and it is every bit as impressive as the 77 inch model I saw on display in-store. The installer, Collin and his assistant, hid the connecting power supply and HDMI cables in-wall for a clean look. They were very professional and courteous.

The 77" LG OLED G3 is a fabulous TV. Unfortunately, I can't hang this TV on the wall. No space. Fortunately, the companion TV stand came free.
The picture is outstanding. The MLA technology makes this OLED the brightest I ever owned.
4K blu rays loook great and my 4k Apple TV never looked better. The built in LG apps work well too.
I wanted to buy the new Sony 77" A95L, but that one costs more than $1000 extra. This TV really hits the sweet spot. I highly recommend the LG G3.

This is the most beautiful tv picture that I have ever seen. The colors are so vibrant and bright, it look like I’m looking through a window. I have connected with a roof antenna which has many channels connected with NextGen making the channels more interactive. I also have DirecTv and the 4K is amazing. Streaming 4K movies is even more amazing. It has so many options that I’m still discovering new things and the sound is great even without my Bose soundbar. Well worth the price.

I have this tv for over a month now and I am still stunning of the picture quality. The build quality of the television is second to none. When mounted to the wall it looks like a piece of art on the wall. LG is not paying me to write this review and the LG- 77 G3 is not cheap, but if you can afford it, you will not regret buying this television. 4K HDR content is breath taking, the set is elegant and beautiful on the wall. the picture quality is "wow" out of the box. All in all, it is a great buy for watching: games, movies, news etc..

This is really an outstanding product. I waited a very long time to update my Samsung "Touch of Rose" LN52A650 (I think that's what it was called), a 52" television, because even after 16 years of use, it still displayed a beautiful picture. However, I did start to see the slightest black vertical discoloration appearing on the left side of the screen. However, this wasn't enough for me to replace it.
The main motivating factors for upgrading were my desire for a "smart TV" with e-ARC for my Bose 900 soundbar, Dolby Vision and Sound, 4K resolution, and most of all, a larger screen. The "Magic Remote" is pretty great too, although it occasionally doesn't work as expected. Finally, the flush wall mounting is a thing of beauty, making the TV look like a gorgeous piece of artwork. (depending on what's on).
The LG G3 series OLED does not disappoint. The picture is amazingly crisp and clear, with vibrant colors. Dolby Vision, sound, and 4K are a huge upgrade from the 1080p of the LN52A650. Sometimes, I watch it and can't believe the quality.
If I were to name a few cons, they would be the occasionally over-bright whites, which sometimes look clipped. But I attribute this more to the source material, such as poorly lit news footage and some sports broadcasts. There are a million ways to tweak the settings, and I've adjusted mine to my liking, so I can live with that. Any kind of well lit source whether it be a feature film, television program or other looks spectacular. Even in darkly lit scenes the blacks are deep but you can still see image if it was lit to be seen. The only other con is the slightly slow boot time of WebOS and slightly slow reaction time when changing from one mode to another. But again, neither of these are a deal breaker.
As stated, I had my previous set for almost 20 years, and I'd like to believe I'll have this one for just as long, barring any massive technical changes or breakdowns that require me to replace or upgrade. (Which of course will probably happen considering the pace of new tech!).
If you're looking at this set and don't mind spending the $$$ you won't be dissapointed.

This TV replaced an LG 77 inch G2 TV with a bad internal Network adaptor. Sadly this TV has the exact same issue - only connects to the Internet when it feels like, which isn't often.
We opted to keep the TV and purchased an Apple TV (4k) which we use to by-pass the LG adaptor and connect to Internet using it.
Other than the Internet issue we love this TV. The picture quality is outstanding. The Gallery series allows the TV to be mounted less than an inch from the wall (and flat, not tilted at all), giving it an appearance of a picture instead of a TV.

Excellent TV! Everything is exceptional quality, but the sound quality is a bit lacking although not terrible, just not exceptional like the other features. We have our own sound system so it doesn't matter to us. The picture quality is amazing and any reflections from windows/sun are muted significantly so it makes the watching experience so much better. The brightness and distinct colors are excellent. Improvements to remote make it more user friendly. Love this TV so far (30 days).

IN SEPT 2023 , I DECIDED IT WAS TIME FOR UPGRADING TO AN LG OLED G3 WITH ALL THE LATEST IMPROVEMENTS.
EVO BRIGHTER OLED DISPLAY , THE BEST HDR , DOLBY VISION , IMPROVED COLOR DYNAMICS , ETC. I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED , IT'S TRULY AN AMAZING TV PRODUCT . ♥️ WORTH EVERY PENNY . BTW , IT'S CURRENTLY ON SALE , LOWEST EVER.

Great color. Good depth of tv programs. Watched an old football game and it looked even better. Black is very black. It was easy to set up tv the on screen was easy to use.we are in a bright room during day and have had no problem with color or reflection. We had to use tv speakers for a few days before home theater was fixed. The tv speakers we ok but as with all tv ‘s need different sound system.

Excellent TV - I can actually watch TV as its meant to , as well as game during the day. The brightness is outstanding - the picture quality is outstanding. VERY HAPPY. The G4 is supposed to be better - but to be frank - not worth the 1500 USD more. Not sure about the sound quality - mine's hooked up to the Sonos Arc.

Replaced a 2013 samsung plasma 1080p. The picture on this tv is incredible. It is sharp, colorful and totally tweakable. Upscaling is mostly great but some shows are not as good but i expected this going from 62 to 77 inches. The 4k stuff is very nice. Screen reflections are well controled and the tv is bright enough for all types of viewing.

First OLED to every buy and boy am I satisfied.
Perfect blacks, amazing colors, no motion blur, no blooming, no negatives.
There is absolutely no comparison between this OLED and any mini LED TV, this thing is just leagues ahead in every way.
I wanted to get the new Sonly A95L but at a $1500 premium over this it was just not worth it.

The good, absolutely wonderful! The picture is amazing and the speakers compliment the TV without the use of a soundbar. I will eventually get a sound bar this week, but wanted to share the quality of this system. Menu access is user friendly. The initial set up walks you through each step for your best use. You will have to download the LG App, super easy. This will allow you to remote in to your TV via phone rather than clicking each character individually during your set up for your email, password, login, etc.
Now the bad, I am sure you can buy an aftermarket wall mount, but it does come with its own. The back of the TV is exclusive to LG, so you have to buy the CORRECT aftermarket mount if you do not want to use the provided mount. I was hoping to reuse the mount I already had; however, it was not compatible with this TV.
The instructions can be a bit vague, but there is a QR code on the instruction sheet that provides you with a video tutorial on setting up the TV.
The TV would not connect to my Wi-Fi, so I had to hardline it with an ethernet cable. No worries, I rather rely on the hardline than the Wi-Fi, just in case it goes out.
Other than that, it is a great TV with a rich and pure look to its colors! The family and I love it!

As much as I like the picture I probably would have been better off saving money and purchasing the c3. The G3 is in my bedroom which does not have many windows. This TV can get is insanely bright for an OLED , but unless you really need that feature trade down. However, the picture quality is stunning.

Excellent tv, but with any now a days, the internal speakers are less than desireable. Also for a tv w a price tag of over $4k it really should come w a better remote, more like what comes w the M class signature series. These are two minor complaints. The tv is excellent for standard watching and excels in games and watching HDR content.

Loving the TV. This is my fifth LG OLED and the best one yet. The brightness is noticeable over my C1 and the pictures have an extra pop to them. Not sure I need to go any brighter or will need some shades to watch TV! The TV is really worth it around the $3500 price point.

Its a really good w-oled. I had it next to my c8 and honestly i could hardly tell the difference other then the g3 being slightly brighter. The g3 is a fantastic television but compared to the s95c it just seems flat when it comes to color. The gaming on the g3 is actually worse and dimmer then my 2018 c8 is. I couldnt recommend this tv to people when its the same price as qd oled tvs which are better in almost every way. One area where the g3 shines is in white scenes like hockey or snow. If your not a gamer and you dont watch colorful movies or shows and watch alot of hockey then the g3 is your tv. But if you do game and like to mix it up with some animae and movies with some bright colors then i would highly recommend a qd oled. The g3 also crushes alot of shadow detail and for some reason peoples faces have a greenish tint and no matter what i did in settings i couldnt seem to fix this. I will say the g3 is BRIGHT though when it comes to movies and shows, really bright. But like i said in game mode it is really dim and flat. I exchanged it for the s95c and i am extremely glad i did. Hope this helps someone.

The blacks are absolutely black and the contrast is excellent. Color renditions are superb. The tv comes with various modes, such as bright room and gaming. While it is a bit more expensive, the G3 series of OLED tv's from LG are worth every penny.
