In the more recent past, I’ve owned a Samsung and Sony; and this has the least impressive picture. We went for the larger screen size this time and in the beginning I found it to be a regrettable decision. I have since tweaked the picture settings...and so now I’d say “its just okay”.

It constantly says to update but wont let you update. Appetv+ app on there but won't allow me to sign in. I should stay with my android tv no issues.

The rest is straight up junk. Paired with a 5.1 Channel lg sound bar and can’t get either to sync up sound and video. Sound Bar is basically useless. TV will not stay connected to Wi fi rendering the LG ThinQ app useless. Paying a lot for useless technology. Super disappointed. LG tech support, while responsive, zero help.

Upon getting it unboxed I decided to inspect the screen because of other reviews saying the TV arrived with a broken screen. I was hoping that would not happen to me. Well as I was inspecting it with my wife I look at the top middle of the screen and it has a huge crack where it looked like a baseball or something hit it and another crack off to the right that was long. I was so excited to get this setup to watch some movies with my family. Reached out to BB only to be told I have to wait 24 hours before they can do anything based on the information not being updated in the system yet. So now I have this huge broken TV taking up space in my family room until God knows when. I hope the next one comes without any issues and I will make sure to have the delivery guys wait until I unpack it before leaving it. I will write another review once I get one that's not broken.

Not three weeks later, both horizontal and vertical lines started to take over the screen totally crippling the viewing experience-you can't see pas the lines. I was tossed from chat, to store, to LG back to the store. The tv was very nice-for three weeks. Maybe I got a dud but if these companies stand by their product, consumers should not have to shell out hundreds on warranties. But the good news is BB will be delivering a new one since it's still in the return window. I just have to wait a long time-so I'm little satisfied.
