Good product all around. It works with both CDs and DVDs which is pretty cool, you can even burn files onto CDs and DVDs! I don’t have much else to say, I would recommend!

This item feels like cheap plastic but it has held up and been durable. Works flawlessly with plug and play and haven't had any issues yet. Only gripe is that it vibrates loudly but if you're listening with sound on, you won't notice.

I bought two dvd readers for mac book use, The Apple reader was limited only to Mac or at least advisable toninly use w a Mac- this one is lightweight and straightforward use- no glitches in reading my home burned dvd’s really good value

A cheap way to have a burner but without having to buy the most expensive laptop. Supposedly it works with most modern day TVs that has a USB port. It’s about the size of a dvd case and all as advertised. I paid 20$ after taxes using my member rewards so it’s an excellent choice.

I am very happy with this product. I and the wife each bought a new computer. Neither computer came with a disc drive but we have lots of software that is still on disc as well as music and photos. The external drive is convenient and quiet in operation. I still write DVDs to store photos from my hobby and this works great. I give this little external Disc Drive 5-Stars.

Works great and looks good. However wish it was a little bit quieter and that the software to use the drive/play DVDs didn't require an user registration.

Needed an external drive for a laptop that didn't have a built-in drive. This does the trick; it's fast and lightweight so you don't care about bringing it in the case with the laptop. The outer case feels quite flimsy, though, so I'm concerned about durability.

I bought this for my gaming PC because it did not come with a disc drive. This was a great price, and def something worth purchasing. I have ended up using it with my laptop as well, because it's compact and easy to take with you or move. I recommend!

Gave this as a gift to a highschooler with a macbook. She needed an external dvd drive to watch movies. She loves it for its usefulness and portability.

Have only used a few times so far but it seems to be good quality and easy to use. Four stars because, as others said, it does seem flimsy since it’s very light. Just hope it does the job and lasts, that’s what matters.

I bought this because my Macbook Pro did not have a cd drive. I use it to watch movies and tv shows I have on dvd. I have not tried to make copies of anything. But it works great with my needs and connects to my macbook.

Very compact and lightweight. Performs as advertised. I was hoping for a more solid case, but the trade off is the light weight. I bought this unit as a companion to a new Dell laptop I bought and really just needed it to install some productivity software I had on discs. Bought it on sale so the value was right!

I needed a really simple easy to use DVD drive for my Intel NUC PC so I decided to try this LG USB drive. I just plugged it into an open USB slot, Windows 10 found the correct driver and it was ready to go in no time at all. I've used it for CD's and DVD's and it works great. Very compact and USB powered so no wall wart needed. I knocked off one star because it doesn't always seem to read at the highest speed specified by LG and it's only USB 2.0. But for the price that's understandable. Otherwise a good simple USB drive.

Needed a CD drive since my new computer did not have one. Simple to use, plug it in and go to work. Good product at a very good price.
