    We bought the LG 9500 BTU 230-volt a/c unit to replace an old 1970s model. We originally stuck the new a/c into the old sleeve, but the old sleeve was so huge, we decided to order this LG sleeve, thinking it would be a perfect fit. Well, it didn't go all the way to the back of the sleeve, so not a perfect fit, but better. Luckily, our handyman was able to make it work.

    easy to install and the instructions were simple. Dimensions for the hole through the wall were not the best but once I finished the area it slid into place with only a little effort. The new air conditioner slid into the sleeve with no trouble at all.

    This product is fine and worked great, I had a contractor install it and will have A/C in my master bedroom next year. The reason I am not giving five stars here is the misrepresentation on the the A/C unit which stated it had a wall sleeve included but upon opening the wall sleeve was not included. It's really aggravating to arrange to have someone into the home to do this type of work (cutting hole thru wall and mounting the wall sleeve) and discover that you aren't able to actually proceed since this very important component is not included.

    Exactly as advertised. Needed this to install the new LG wall a/c and this was a perfect fit. For most installations, you will also need the vent plate for the exterior rear of the sleeve.

    Wished I didn't need to replace a dead weird sized in-wall unit, but I did. So this was necessary and worked and fit great with my LG A/C & heating unit.
