I like the phone for the most part. The headphone jack loosened up about the second time I plugged it in.

When I was looking for a new phone, I didn't have the LG G3 on my radar. I happen to come across the phone on bestbuy.com and noticed they were offering the phone free with new 2 year contract. Read some reviews and decided to get the phone. This phone is amazing. It's slim, fast, big in size for my big hands, and the screen is huge. Most importantly, the battery life is excellent. I no longer have to worry about my battery draining on this phone when it's idle. I'll put my fully charge phone down and about 3 hrs later, the phone will be around 97-99%! This was a plus considering I had a Motorola Droid that would literally drain my battery by at least 50%. This is an underrated phone!

Do your research! Galaxy is a better choice! You can't talk and search the web at the same time. The signal is horrible! I don't like the screen shot method! I really should have research it instead of going off of what the sales person said! Overall it's a cute phone, but that's about it!! O yeah horrible camara also!

    It's pretty good

I like the features. The buttons on the back were awkward at first but you get used to them. And you kind of don't really need the power button because you can double tap and it turns the screen on. The same way to lock it, just double tap the background. That was nifty. The only issue I'm having now, after about 3 months of having the phone, is how laggy its been while I'm texting. I already have a really difficult time texting with touch screens and it lagging is making it so much worse. I keep restarting in false hopes it'll help. Updated everything, didn't change a thing. I'll also have to make the keys bigger, also a nifty feature for people with bigger finger tips such as myself. There is a pretty annoying bug when you plug in an audio cable connected to a car stereo. It starts opening the voice assistant and it'll sometimes either pause or switch songs if I move the base of the cable in the phone. Don't know if that is a feature or not but it is annoying. Overall the phone is pretty decent. It was really expensive when I bought it and not worth the money I spent on it what so ever. I found out it had just come out at the time I purchased it. I probably would have got a different cheaper phone if I knew that before I paid for it. The camera is really good. Front facing camera is just as clear as the back even though the resolution is lower. Audio quality is much better than my last phone. And the speaker can be really loud which I like as my last phone had low volume output. Screen is clear and big. The home and back buttons are part of the screen so it gives you extra screen space for videos and games and such. Again, the lagginess recently is becoming annoying. Might need to speed it up with a program of sorts. Conclusion: Don't let the quad core fool you it isn't as fast as you would expect, slowed down extensively with use (as to be expected I suppose). It was really expensive when I bought it, not worth 200 bucks (upgrade price) by any means. 100 yeah I would have been okay with that but 200 was too much. Great camera, lots of nifty features and nifty default programs. I'm only not recommending this phone for personal nit picks but it isn't an entirely terrible phone. It's pretty decent.

Smartphones have finally peaked with the g3! This phone is perfect! The screen is amazing! Battery is solid for the crazy specs it has to run. Very quick and absolutely no lag. Only complaint is that it's made of fake metal instead of a high quality metal build so you'll probably want a case for it. Other than that it's the best phone I've ever seen or used. The back button idea is genius for a big phone like this. I hate reaching to the top on something like the HTC one. You will not regret choosing this over the HTC or Samsung Galaxy s5. This is clearly the superior choice.

    Wife's new phone

Upgraded my wife's phone from an older LG which she became very upset over such a small device. When Sprint recommended Best Buy had the phone $150. less than their deal, upgraded her phone for free. She only used her old phone for calls only. When I brought it home and she had a chance to play with it, she was amazed at the superior quality over my Galaxy S3. She loves all the features and transferred all her favorite pictures via bluetooth. I, myself, was truly amazed how seemless, everything worked not to mention a larger screen and the quality of streaming videos. My S3 will qualify for a new phone in August which I was planning on a Note 3 but I may go with the LG G3. Decisions, decisions.

    Best smartphone I've ever had

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but after I saw some of the negative ones I felt that I needed to chime in. The battery life is EXCELLENT. I don't know if the other members received underperforming products or perhaps if the T-Mobile version is somehow different (I have the Verizon version but I don't believe it should make a difference), but I have no complaints about it. After leaving it charging overnight, I can use it for about 30 minutes before the battery level even drops to 99%. It is very fast and responds quickly. I've found I don't even have a need to use a task killing app, it never seems to slow down regardless of how many apps I have open. There's no lag when switching between apps either. I do agree that the knocking feature isn't as responsive as it should be. Sometimes I need to tap a few times in order to get the screen to turn on. The display is gorgeous. I've gotten used to it as I've had the phone for several months, but when I turned on my old Galaxy S3 I felt like I was looking at a dirty window in comparison. It's spoiled me. It has an AC wireless network adapter which is incredibly fast. Connected to my home internet via my AC router, I average speeds of about 50-60Mbps with occasional spikes going over 100Mbps. No exaggeration. If you use it alot at home on your wi-fi network, I strongly suggest investing in an AC router. They're dropped quite a bit in price and you will be amazed at the difference in speed. Other than that, I haven't had any problems with call quality or connection and other than the delay with the knocking feature, I can't think of any other cons. Rooting it is very easy and will result in a it running even faster. I definitely recommend doing it.

Had this phone for about a week before I returned it. Speaker was very crackled and had a lot of static. Phone had many glitches. Phone would often freeze or not respond to touch screen input.

I debated between this phone and the Samsung Galaxy since both had great features, and purchased the LG G3 instead because of its size and speed. I love my phone! Much better than the iphone in my opinion.

I've been doing a lot of research on this phone leading up to it's US release. I must say it was well worth it. By far the best screen on the market, those 2 pre-installed videos will blow you away. The battery life is surprisingly great considering the machine it has to power. All in all a terrific Android device. LG knocked it outta the park with the G3! Just wish the US version came with the Quadbeat 2 headphones.

Coming from an iPhone 4S, this phone is beast! Love everything about it! I use to complain about the battery on my iPhone but not on this. This will get me through the day and the next! Literally. The screen is just right and so far I haven't had any problems that the other reviews had said. Call quality is good, no keyboard problems, and I was scared of the overheating but I have yet to get that message and I'm on my phone at least half the day. The best part is the batter is removable and there's a SD Card slot to fit up to 128GB. Totally worth it.

Pros: Beautiful screen image, great battery life, takes great photos and video. Cons: After about the 5th month seemed to have cache issues, never connected to my car's bluetooth I was relatively happy with it for the first four months (I found a work around for the car Bluetooth problem#, but for the past month it's been having seriously problems doing relatively simple things. I have to run Clean Master #an app# and/or restart it 3 or 4 times a day or it has problems opening videos on youtube, showing photos on social media sites, etc. I've seriously considered going back to my Galaxy S3, but it was slowing down #it was about 2 years old) and had terrible battery life. So I guess I'm stuck until my contract expires and I can get an S7...
