Handled Every Thing I Threw At It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, Samsung competes directly with LG. They are primarily after the iPhone segment as Samsung phones begin to really look and operate like iPhone. Boring with crashes! Samsung, go back to removable battery and memory expansion, like the G4. The G4 is fun to use! It has great graphics, it's very fast and can multitasking easily. The screen resolution is same as S6, but it's got a larger, more accurate screen. I'm coming from a S4. I also own Galaxy Tab S 8.4, their flagship tablet. It's also samoled. The colors pop, but they are not accurate. With the G4 using the same resolution with an IPS screen, you see the real picture as it was intended. The battery life is amazing on the G4. I picked up a $-9 replacement card for Qi wireless charging. It works great! Seriously, the more I use and adjust to all the features of the G4, I get more and more impressed. A black leather backplate is not necessary when you will be putting a protective case on anyway. I liked the G4 when I bought it after sale with $35 Bestbuy Elite points. So $65 for GREAT NEW TECHNOLOGY makes Samsung way overpriced and snobby. Samsung cstomer support is horrendous. I've yet to speak to LG because I've had NO issues whatsoever. Yes, I really am starting lto love my G4!

A Great Experience so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone is big but fits well in my hand. I'm upgrading from a GS4 and chose this over a GS6 because of the Battery/Charger/32g Memory promo LG is running as well as the $100 gift card from Best buy. Also I chose this because of the fact that GS6 doesn't have expandable memory and a removable battery. So far, I'm very happy with the switch. The design makes the phone not so bulky. The build quality is not top notch but more than acceptable and interface is very close to stock Android. The screen is gorgeous and the battery life is not too bad. I use the phone heavily and it lasts until 3 if I leave my house at 8:30 am. I absolutely love the camera on this phone. If you're hesitant on choosing this over the GS6 because of the benchmarks don't be. An every day user will not notice the difference. The 808 chip on this phone is good enough and the phone is snappy. I highly recommend it.

too big
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is so big I could not fit it in any pocket and still sit down. Since I have a phone to carry with me, it was useless. I returned it. Nice features otherwise. Samsung Galaxy s5 replaced it...waterproof!

Bye Samsung Galaxy S5 ...Hello LG G4
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't regret this purchase. The phone is ten times faster than my old Samsung Galaxy S5. I made a decision based on customer reviews and product reviews on other websites including YouTube. Pros: Good camera, nice features, very fast, and great battery life. Advice: Keep your LG G4 on Battery Saver mode to save the battery. I tested the battery performance while I did multiple things on the phone and it didn't disappoint me. I am not hopping on the iPhone or Samsung bandwagon anytime soon. Thank you LG! Keep up the good work.

Great flagship phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my LG G4 for almost a month now and I'm loving it! I upgraded from an HTC One M8 which had started to run slow. LG G4 has a nice beautiful big screen and great battery life. Does seem to get warm at times. Had to get used to the power and volume buttons being on the backside.

Slightly boxy, decent battery, great features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally pulled the trigger to update to a new phone. Had been using a Samsung Galaxy S3 (and a HTC Droid Incredible) and was going to upgrade to a S6. Unfortunately, Samsung dropped a removable battery and SD card slot - which this phone has. Plus, there were several promotions for the phone - a win-win. The camera and screen are as great as advertised. I am very happy with them. Button locations take some time to get used to them. I am still reaching for sides. Not really a big deal though as the shape makes it surprisingly easy to access. I've been happy with the battery. Sure it doesn't last all day if I stream constantly, but no other device I have does. It gets me through the day so far and has been really good when I've been really low on power. I do wish the phone was slightly less boxy. That would make it a darn near perfect device. Great overall phone and a worthy upgrade.

Flagship of 2015
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my experience so far, I love this phone. I am coming from an s6 Edge that I just couldn't bring myself to keep. I had poor battery life, and the lack of good screen protectors for the s6 edge was unbearable for me. The only thing I miss is the fingerprint scanner. Overall, the G4 has probably the best cellular display I have seen. The features are brilliant - although Verizon blocks some of the best ones. The facts that this phone has expandable storage and interchangeable battery are killer, especially considering that LG is providing a memory card, extra battery, and cradle for the next couple of weeks. I bought from Best Buy because of the $100 gift card.

Worst phone ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone was replaced twice under warranty, now a year old, Verizon won't help. I'm left to fight with LG - we'll see how that goes. I have the first version of the phone and newer ones may not have the 'known' issue. Each time it was replaced - they sent me one of the same version that they supposedly fixed. Arrgggg...

Good phone and value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I got this phone. We switched from the iPhone and this is our first android. We found that it was easy to use once we got use to the interface. The improvements include more space and processing, more control over file management, and is a better value overall.

Lag? What Lag?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a Note 4 it was a breath of fresh air going back to an LG handset; I've owned the previous G3 and felt that it also had lesser lag than my Note 4. Great all around device, especially with promotions for a $100 Gift Card and free battery and memory card promos from LG directly made this a huge value for what you're paying. The battery will barely get me through a day, but I'm a power user that uses it frequently with streaming music, bluetooth playback and my Moto 360 watch also connected; unplugging at 8am will require me to plug it in the charger by 5:30 where my Note 4 will have between 35-45% of battery left [most likely of the benefits between SuperAMOLED and IPS LCD on the G4].

Screen unresponsive/glitch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.just brought it few days, and found it has 4 issues Issue 1. Screen unresponsive/glitch That means, when you type the sentences, there are some characters did not entered even you typed them. For example, you are trying to type "I am at work." and you typed every single characters, however, some of the characters are missing from the sentence. also, when you are scrolling down the page, when you finger is constant press on the screen, the screen lost signal and then reconnect, it make the "constant hold" act as double click, because screen lost in between, so HOLD become HO-LD. the strange thinks, is when I am using the phone while charging, the problem is less likely happen Issue 2 freeze/pause only downloaded 2 apps, one browser and one chat software. it will freeze/pause for second all the time. I believe it is more like software then hardware issue Issue 3 Get Warm after few minutes of light using view browser, it will get warm. if watching Youtube, it will get warmer, very warm (not hot). Issue 4 Camera although the camera has F1.8, it take longer time to focus comparing to Samsung and iPhone who has phase detection. Also, in auto mode, although it show multiple green focus boxes on multiple areas, it can only focus in one area. For example, if a person is holding a cat in front of him, this camera can only focus on the cat (then the person who is holding the cat is blur, out of focus) or the person (then the cat is blur)

Great Camera amongst everything else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously used the LG G2. My brother and sister got the LG G3. We were all happy with our phones that I only wanted an LG. I briefly used an iPhone between my G2 and G4 and all I can say is it's good to be back to a droid processor. There is so much you can do with ti and once you get used to it, there is no going back. The biggest benefit of the LG is it's amazing battery life. Of course, if you play as much candy crush as I do, it will not be as great, but no complaints since that is all my fault. But in all, it's a great phone. It may not have the status of Samsung or Apple, but that doesn't make it any less as critics rate it very highly.
