I have been a diehard Samsung fan, but I finally made the jump to the LG G4 and I don't regret it at all. The LG G2 and G4 I bought are much faster than the Samsung counterparts, mainly due to the lack of bloatware compared to Samsung. Also, there is a big development community behind these phones and with root, the sky is the limit.
Best Buy shipped the phone quickly, as soon as it was released. Activated with no issues on my current unlimited LTE line and haven't looked back since!

The lg g4 is an all around great phone at a great price with a great promo running right now. It's a nice size screen with a beautiful display. Camera is fantastic, only thing I can really say that is a down, is battery life with the removable battery and the promo running through lg will get you an extra one with a cradle. But it's a great phone!

This phone is great for anybody looking to try out a phone with a bigger screen. It may seem too big at first, but a few days with it and you'll wonder why you were looking at such a small screen before. Batter life is quite good when the phone is hardly being used. Media apps tend to drain the battery much faster, so don't expect hours and hours of Youtube without a charger handy.

Long time iPhone user and I made the switch to android last year ( samsung galaxy S5). Although I fell in love with android (full customization, integration with all of my Google accounts) I was not impressed by Samsung's build quality. Althoulg the samsung galaxy S6 looks much better I really felt that
I needed the extra battery. Plus the added big plus is the amazing camera. It truly is great and if you have the time to fool around with manual mode. It produces exceptional images. I believe the rebate for the extra memory card and battery is still available.

After much careful research, anticipation, and most of all a NEED for a new cell phone, I opted for the LG G4 primarily because of the expandable SD card slot and the removable battery. My previous phone was the Samsung Galaxy S3, which was a GREAT phone, but overtime, it lagged and the processor and RAM could not keep up with the updated apps and firmware. First of all, I like the G4, but don't love it because I feel that the screen size could be a bit smaller since I'm the type not to watch movies or play too many games on a mobile device. Second, the camera still doesn't compare to a Samsung Galaxy. Sure, it may have improved aperture, but even the manual controls, if I decide to go a little more "professional" seem confusing without the proper labels attached to each of the settings. However, because I hate cloud storage and this was the only phone that would at least be somewhat in the same league as the GS6 and the HTC M9, I chose the G4 because they kept the SD card slot and the removable battery. Overall, it's a good phone.

This is my first touch only phone (yes, behind the times), so I have much catching up to do. I bought this specifically for the camera (16mp), and have loved the takes.
There are certain specialties with this phone that I've not heard about with other phones:
It has Ringer ID: it plays out the person's phone number in a melody (I believe by the last 4 digits, then wraps to area code and prefix) It's fabulous....actually helps me to visualize a dial pad, thus helping me to learn their number each time I call....something that has become sadly loss with the increase of cell phone contact lists being our memory for us. The downside of this software specific application: you can't select specific individuals, only 3 group options: Everyone, Contacts, or Favorites. A bit of a bummer, as some favorites I desire to select a different type of specified ring *(song, etc), but, if Ring ID is picked and they are in that group, I cannot override it. I hope that software upgrades will resolve this confinement of this application.
A few other issues....the phone comes pre-installed with certain apps. Though you can un-install them, it seems it'll prompt you to upgrade them later (for me, it the NFL mobile) I would like for them to not come back up as an "upgrade" request.
Also, though it's great that you can merge contacts, when in the edit screen, it will have multiple of the same section, and scrolling down through all, especially if contacts came through as 4 separate people, can be tiresome. I understand it's because you also have the option to separate a merged contact. But, I'd love an option to fully merge after the initial merge, or a timed default to fully merge, after 1mo, then having the software, push all the info into the first section of address, email, phone, etc.
Those issues being said, which are very minimal, the benefits of the phone are great....the multishots, dual screen, collaging pictures option. scrolling options, alarms, etc. I still have so much to learn about this new phone, but I'm definitely having fun exploring all it's possibilities.

The LG G4 is a great phone, the screen is amazin and the camera is an awesome thing to have, also having the ability to add a microSD card just makes this phone a complete package. The only thing that i would complaint is the fact that buttons (volume and screen lock) are on the back, which takes some time to get used to, also, it would be great if the battery would last a bit lomger (just makes it thru the day).

I went from an iPhone 4 to this so the increased size took some getting used to, since I wear it on my belt. The increased size makes it easier to read without having to scroll or move from side to side. The camera got a good review. The photos look good but I haven't put it through any real tests yet. The internet operation seems faster, although I'm with the same network.

Bless lg for providing a good quality phone because I didn't want to fall into the apple trap nor buy samdung. The camera is the best only next to the Sony I bought for another line. The removable battery is a treat as the phone can be in use all day then just swap out for the fully charged one at home... Beats any turbo charge nonsense :)

Sharp screen, great camera, easy to use, double the internal storage space of my prev ious phone. Rear on-off button is so much easier to use than the side button on other phones. AND, unlike other new phones, removable back, which allows you to change the battery and the SD card!

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and still getting used to all it's functions. I have yet to fully load it with the apps I had to previously remove from my old phone as it showed low storage too many times.
Good phone with good camera and great storage.

Am very happy with my new phone. I chose the LG over a Samsung due to the size and feel in my hand and the location of the buttons on the back rather than the sides. A major factor was the removeable battery and ability to add memory. I mostly use my phone for texting, calls and Facebook.

This phone does it all and does it easily. Camera is great too. Battery life was a concern, depending on how much I use it I may have to recharge mid-day. Others warned the phone got hot, it does sometimes, just restart it and it cools down. Definitely happy with the purchase.
