This phone doesn’t receive the hype it should have. I think it’s just as good as the S8. Great screen, beautiful design, great camera. Sadly, I returned it due to having a finger print sensor on the back. Something I do not prefer after using it for sometime. Android was running smooth and excellent despite LG adding their skin, however I personally wanted iOS more when using the LG. Additionally, I felt the battery life pales in comparison to the iPhone 7 Plus. I went back to the iPhone. It’s better for my needs.

I love this phone. I'm a big guy and testing the s8 I always accidentally got the screen. Not an issue on this phone. Pros: 2:1 screen is great for scrolling apps like Facebook and Gmail, as well as 21:9 movies. Great build quality. Nice cameras. Fast software. A Samsung will not stay fast and stable as long as this phone. Cons: The tall screen doesn't work great for some apps. Need big hands to use device imo No notification light on front (has always on display instead)

I purchased 2 LG G6 cellphones for my wife & myself. We have no regrets at all. The quality of the camera is great. The sound quality when speaking on the phone is crystal clear. The battery life is very good. I could go at least 4 days without recharging it. We are average users (text, internet & regular calls). The phone has many features which we have not began to utilize. The fingerprint & pin security feature is a plus. We highly recommend this cellphone.

Thanks to Best Buy for a great deal on this excellent phone. Our carrier wouldn't offer an upgrade deal for my wife's phone even though we'd been with them for 10 years and her current phone was 3 years old. It seems carriers these days only want to take care of new customers and not existing ones. We stopped by Best Buy just to see if perhaps they had something else. And if I wanted to stick with the big brand, the pricing was about the same as at the carrier's stores. But the Best Buy mobile consultant looked up this LG model and it happened to also be on special, we got it for a great deal. And it's not some weak phone; this is a high-end model. The newest LG at the time of this writing is the V30, but this G6 is fantastic. I have the Samsung S8, and it's quite comparable. Both have good cameras and screens, and the G6 outward-facing camera actually has a dual lens system, so it can apparently take even nicer wide shots; I don't know about that we haven't really played with that feature much yet and the documentation that comes with the phone is almost nothing (we'll have to go online to get info I suppose). But both phones also use the newer USB-C connection for fast charging; that was a sign to me that the G6 wasn't old or low-grade, they did a nice job with it. My son once had an older LG that crapped out on him after about a year and a half...we'll see what happens with this one, but it's so much better than that older one that I'm hopeful it will serve us well. And our carrier should thank Best Buy too, because we were considering leaving so we could upgrade the phone without breaking the bank.

I've always been a fan of LG, and have tried other top android phones such as HTC and Samsung. The Galaxy series are very overrated due to their bloatware. The LG G6 has everything the Galaxy S8 has except for the useless edge. Also the fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S8 is poorly positioned. LG has been doing it right for years, go with them and you won't be disappointed with the HDR screen, beautiful two cameras and simple, clean user interface.

I first bought a Samsung S8 and really disliked it. I'm not a Samsung fan and won't ever buy one again! The LGG6 doesn't appear as fast as the Samsung S8 but feels better built. With 32 gigs there is lots of room for games and music and I love the fingerprint fast unlock and fast charge. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't rate anything perfect. Everything has room to improve.

I purchased this phone for three different family (older) members, so my rating is based on limited use. However, I have nothing but a good impression of these phones. Great screen, fast, and nice looking. The finger print scanner is awesome and has good placement. The only aspect of the phone I didn't exactly love was LG's software, it seems a little complicated for some tasks.

LG made a gem here. Beautiful design, great hardware, and nice flow. So far, thr phone has not given me any major problems. The button on the back takes getting used to, but I actually prefer it now. No issues with overheating. The screen is beautiful. Excellent camera. If you are in the market, this phone is worth a look.

I was coming from many years of Samsung galaxy's. I loved there phones but they are full of bloat wear. My LG G6 did come pre-loaded with bloat wear but was able to uninstall. I came from a Samsung S6, so now I feel the battery life is fantastic. I can make it through the day with decent amount of use and still have juice left. The phone is very durable but I still recommend a case. A negative is the screen brightness is not very bright compared to the samsung S6. I like the button on the back of the phone and not on the side or top of the phone. the camera is decent but I expected better. Some photos come out grainy. I love this phone and it was much more affordable than the samsung S8 on a spring plan.

I upgraded from the Galaxy S5 and am pretty happy with the purchase. The phone is very sleek and feels great when I use it. It responds quickly and loads applications even faster. The large screen is too large for some apps, but can be solved with the press of a finger in every situation that I have come across. The video and audio quality is magnificent, and I love that it has the main speaker on the bottom of the phone instead of on the back panel. The battery life is also better than anything I have ever had in a phone. I can use the phone for two full days with low to moderate use without the battery dying on me. The only thing that I don't like about it is the look of the user interface. It feels very much like an Apple product, but it's not enough to make me hate it, even the slightest. Overall, the phone feels, looks, sounds, and responds great! The battery life is wonderful, but the UI isn't my style. Great phone, and a solid investment from LG.

Perfect size, Excellent screen. Despite the famous issue with my previous LG phone, decided to give LG a second chance and so far no complains. The camera is outstanding, probably the best that you can find in cellular phones. And you have to appreciate LG 2 years warranty

Upgraded from LG G5. The battery life is good. I love that it is waterproof. It is slightly larger than the G5. I needed a phone replacement due to damaging my G5 so I purchased this on Cyper Monday at $4.99 monthly installation price. So far, so good.

Have had the phone for months now and still have had no problems with it. Great camera, fast and durable. Lots of memory space only complaint so far is sometimes it can be hard to swipe away notifications for some reason. Other than that solid phone.

My husband is a Samsung guy, & this phone was a replacement for his 6Edge, which he cracked and dropped in water! He is very impressed, after using it for 5 days. Battery charges very fast and the size if the screen is larger then he anticipated.

I lucked out with the amazing deal that Best Buy and Sprint were running on this phone. I didn't need a new phone but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to trade up from my G2. This is a magnificent phone with a great camera and awesome speed.

Previously used a Samsung Galaxy S5. G6 seems to be faster and had less bloatware installed at time of purchase. Only been using for a short time, but so far, everything has been on par or better than the Galaxy I was previously using.

Bought this when Best Buy was running a $5/month special for Sprint, so $120 total. At that price, you cannot beat this phone. We like the screen size/ratio, overall screen color and resolution, and the camera. No complaints at all.

I got this phone for my daughter since it is water resistant and a little smaller than the S8 making it easier to hold. The screen clarity is outstanding and the processing speed for my daughter watching videos or playing games is great.

This is my first LG phone, and after using it for almost a month now it won't be my last. The build quality is great, and the phone is smooth as butter. Everything runs so well on this phone. 10/10. Would highly recommend it.
