Excellent android phone, good build quality, not pricey, perfect size, has almost all the features a high end mobile (like Samsung Galaxy) including NFC, fingerprint lock except the microSD slot for expansion (But no regrets).

Terrible

I have to walk around with the charger in my pocket because with moderate usage the phone will only last half the day, or occasionally two thirds of the day. While using the phone today it got hot and turned off, and never turned back on. Dead phone after 6 months, not good, no more Google Nexus phones for me. :( My previous phone a low end Motorola that cost one third of what this one cost and was an entry level prepaid model that would typically last all day, and occasionally die late at night with heavy usage. That phone still works, and I used it much longer than the 6 months that the Nexus 5x lasted. Time to start the warranty process. I would not recommend this phone to anyone, unless you work in an office or never leave your home and can keep it plugged in all day.

Price Match Guarantee useless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy will only price match if the competitor has a local store even though this is a product that CAN'T BE SOLD in a local Best Buy store. Price Match Guarantee is worthless, don't waste your time.

Know what you are in for...

I don't use it beyond basic apps/some streaming/ and email, and it has performed very quickly with a lot of nice perks - fingerprint unlocking, etc. Unfortunately, one day my phone just crashed...complete black screen. According to some forums, this is actually quite common. I would be ok with a sporadic crash, but now my phone is completely dead without explanation and will result in either a complete wipe of all my data/information or a physical replacement. Really frustrating. Might have to return to Apple
