Horrblie unit didn't have ear buds and shut off bad sound no bueno

Sound was good for music. Speaker bad no one could hear me at times it was Good and at times it was bad more bad than good

Disconnects constantly even with my phone in my pocket. People complain they can't hear me and then I blow their ears out. I basically bought something I can't use with phone calls. Works fine for listening to your favorite music.

I bought this item because I was upgrading from a cheaper model but was looking for better quality. It worked fine for a couple of weeks but now everybody is complaining because they can't hear me and it is frustrating. Am looking into the possibility if I can still return it.

Packaging: Came with Geek Squad cardboard packaging, included the headset, ear tips, and micro usb cable. Did not come with wall adapter or original manual. Even though Best Buy claims that the product has been inspected by the Geek Squad, my package came with ear tips that were NOT compatible with the headset. However, the customer service associate was able to get the tips from another LG headset (I think it was LG Tone Ultra?) and they fit perfectly. Design: I've had hbs-750 and hbs-810 and this is by far the BEST. It is very comfortable on your neck and the buttons are easy to navigate. I really like the retractable design, it completely hides ugly wires. Only downside is that sometimes it doesn't retract all the way, but you just have to press the button one more time to get it all the way in. Overall design looks very modern and durable compared to the previous models. Sound: Very crisp and loud. It's excellent for listening to music & phone calls. No connection issues so far. In the previous models, I always felt like it wasn't loud enough even at max volume. I also hated the noticeable white noise. I am very satisfied that this model resolved those issues. This refurb headset is a steal at 1/3 of its original price. Just make sure that the ear tips fit your headset before you leave the parking lot!

I got the Headphones and one side didn't work, returned

Since it is refurbished i thought it will be good working condition but it is not working like new. I will never buy refurbished item from bestbuy again.

My mother talks on the phone probably half of the day with her family and friends while she cooks, cleans, and picks up the kids from school, takes them to soccer practice, and running small errands. She is constantly having to use the apple headphones that connect to her charging port on the iPhone 7 and it is a hassle for them to get untangled, and sometimes falling out of her ear as she can't seem to properly insert them. Every time she gets a phone call she fumbles to put the headphones on as she is simply not hand free. The hbs-910 Bluetooth headphones are an absolute game changer for her in terms of ease of use and adding the hands free factor as well. She is able to talk at ease at the click of a button and can walk freely and not be limited to what she can do. I was skeptical at first of buying them refurbished, however the deal was too good to not give it a shot and let me confirm for anyone who is reluctant about purchasing... it works like a charm. I thought they were brand new when they came in. It was in the original packaging and sealed. There was absolutely no signs of previous wear. The whole headset was flawless and came with replaceable earpieces as well as a brand new charging cable for it. After using it, my mom is absolutely stunned with it. I paid less than a third of the actual price and got an item that was almost exactly the same as buying brand new. Well done Best Buy, I am beyond satisfied.

Pretty good headset. I've bought a new set of tones about every other year because something invariably goes wrong with them (one earbud stops working, one earbud physically pops out, and the latest failure, the charge port not charging consistently. Meh). Keep in mind I use my headphones on a daily basis. They get beat up, tossed around, thrown into pockets, caught on things, etc etc, so I figure a year and a half for a set of headphones isn't bad for the abuse they get. Anyhoo. On to the review! Came in a huge cardboard box with a smaller box inside of that, whereas the headset was in a plastic baggie inside the smaller box. Sweet. I get the bag open, I check out the headset - no ear cups. So, they don't ship ear cups with these headphones I guess, due to sanitary reasons. Not a big deal, I ended up just poaching the ear cups off my old headset, works great. I put them on, pair them without trouble - then the smell hit me. What kind of smell, you ask? Cologne! Or perfume. I can't really tell, to be honest. It's an asexual smell. Regardless, whoever it was that owned these things liked to spritz some smelly juice on the neck before leaving the house, and these things soaked it right up. I gave them the rubbing alcohol treatment, and had limited success with it. I just feel like I've got a nice-smelling stranger VERY close to me, and it's incredibly distracting, but not in a pleasant way. I didn't know what to expect getting a refurb unit, but I didn't expect THIS. Headphones get a 5/5. The sound is lovely, naturally, they're Harmon Kardon. Is it worth $150? Nah. Is it worth $50? Sure! The cables are freaky thin, but I have faith in them. Read somewhere they have kevlar woven into them somehow? Dunno, but, until it's a problem it's not a problem. The retracting function was the biggest gamble, and I thought it would annoy me, but it's actually quite nice to have the earbuds and cables out of the way when not being used. There are 5-6 "stick points", every inch or so, so you can get a good length without exposing too much cable. Refurb lottery gets a 2/5 (clean looking, bit of wear on the underside where the serial numbers are, no ear cups, it did come with the charging cable and wall plug, weird cologne smell).

Great ear buds for music streaming. I don't use them to talk on the phone so I can't say anything about the microphone. I got them refurbished so the price was great. Had them for over a month and stream 9-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Charge lasts all day!

I recently got this product and i liked it so far. I had HBS-730 that that i got it from Bestbuy 2 years ago still going sturdy. I got this one as I wanted to upgrade.

The headset definitely seemed like an improvement over the HBS-900 which I was replacing. Unfortunately, I can not tell you for sure since I returned the headset immediately. I was very disappointed right off the bat when I received my refurbished LG Tone HBS 910. It was delivered in a massive box, which then contained a large blue Best Buy box, and then a piece of cardboard with the headset tucked under a piece of plastic wrap. There was no original packaging, which was part of the description. Then there was the headset itself. The retractable ear buds were loose and retracted like a snail. They were so slow at retracting, that they couldn't even retract all the way. Sound quality was not "like new" quality either. The first song I listened to revealed crackling and popping from the left speaker. Then I made 2 phones calls using it, and both people said I sounded like I was in a tunnel. I'm sure the headset is fantastic, however, my first refurbished buying experience was a bust. I guess you get what you pay for.

Excellent one and very good looking.. very nice and simple one to wear all day for long hours, good for music and calls.. buy one with no doubts..it's worthy one.

Product was shipped with USB cable instead of gel caps. The flap that covers mini USB charging port is missing. Deep scratches around charging port. All in all, very inferior refurbishment and quality control process.

I should have not ordered these based on others that had complained about the Quality Control of these refurnished headsets. I received my headphones while on Spring Break vacation. Once I got back and tried them out, the voice portion did not work. Obviously, the Geek Squad Quality Control did not properly checked these headphones before shipping them to me. It was 4 days after the 2 week return policy and two Best Buy stores would not help me out or exchange for a functional refurnished set. I use the headsets for work so I need the voice portion to be operational. So, I just have a headset that I can only use for music. Others have reported the same issue and obviously Best Buy has not fixed their Quality Control issues. So, it seems like it is hit or miss on these refurbish headphone.

Product seemed good, but battery only lasts 30 minutes on standby. Do they do any QA during refurbishment. Now I need to waste an hour of my day returning these.

Not sure if they actually checked the item, I got the device literally yesterday got to my car tried to turn the headset on nothing, thought to my self ok may just need a charge got home gave it a charge to full and again nothing will be returning this weekend!!! Had two ordered second one came in today don't know if I'll waste my time.
