Ordered a pair of refurbished LG HBS-1100 online for my wife's bday. Within the box I found the headphones and a little bag with a few pair of ear gels. I found it odd that the headphones didn't have any ear gels attached to it. So I attempted to attach a pair of the ear gels that were provided. They didn't fit. I went to the the nearest Best Buy to talk to their Geek Squad. Not much help there since they didn't know much about these headphones. They told me I should "call" Geek Squad or they would be happy to give me a refund. The geek on the phone refunded me $7.50 to find some ear gels that fit or suggested I get my money back. So as I headed back to the store to get a refund I noticed on the box the headphones came in the tagline "Geek Squad certified refurbished" and also "verified to work properly." I guess verified to work properly doesn't include having all parts included. Very disappointed with BB for wasting my time. It's a shame, my wife would have enjoyed those headphones.

So far I am enjoying this headset. Comfortable fit and the sound seems good for music and videos. I changed the ear gels to comply foam tips and it feels much more comfortable to wear. For the price complys should be included (reason for -1 star). The only other thing that I am concerned with is the relatively thin wire connecting the headset to the ear buds. Don't know how they will hold up in the long run. Another aspect I can't comment on is the improved sound response when using this headset with LG phones since I don't have one. Kinda disappointed these premium headsets are gimped by having a non-LG phone. Makes me think I should've just gone with the Infinims or the Active (for the water resistance).

This headset is no different from the gold version I reviewed. In that review, I stated how amazing the bluetooth phone connectivity works to allow you to make and receive calls with the push of a button, increase or decrease volume with a slider, listen to music and mute with another button, advance the song with a slider and have a female voice tell you when the unit is on, the battery level and when connected. The microphone for the phone to the person your talking to is as if you are using the phone itself. The sound is very good for earbuds. It's lightweight and comfortable. The retracting ear buds work well with the touch of a button on each side. Being refurbished is of no concern as they are as if brand new. Very happy with the unit.

I purchased these after having the Infinims for years. First thing I notice is the buds fit in my ears so comfortably. The sound is amazing. And the LG app on my Nexus 6p adds even more functionality. Theses are awesome.

I strongly recommend this item to those who are in need or currently searching for a quality headphones bulid with excellent quality sound and filled with plenty of hands-free features.

I love these ear buds. Sound quality is great. Easy of use is great. They don't get tangled in my hair but the hard plastic does catch some pieces and pulls it out.

Love my bluetooth, wish it could be fold-up and placed in s case for easier transporting in my purse.

Bought both the infinims and the platinums, the infinims sound is crisper and louder but the phone quality is better with the platinums, depending on what I'm doing that day I wear either. Both were a great deal at less than 100$ referb by geek squad.

I like the sound and how it feels . The battery lasts a long time too.

Nice design. Fits perfectly in your ears. Great value.

This is my third generation of LG headphones and they've improved each time. I work from home and am on the phone constantly and having these headphones make talking on the phone much more tolerable.

It's a great headset, I've used only the LG headphones and love the sound even when using aftermarket players with a 20 band E.Q. They handle it great

Great but no real real difference from the last one! Great design smooth sounds but basically the same to me!

Clear sound stays charged all day, very lite weight, I just st wish it would work better with I my iPhone.

They are $200 regular and I got them refurbished for $54. Works just like new with a few scratches as expected.
