For just two little lg speakers & a sub they have some awesome sound

Regarding the size this is the most powerful soundbar i ever tried.

Quit working properly within a year display on the unit and sync go in-and-out and the job that the Geek Squad did installing it damaged the power cable and it's shorting out and not providing enough power because they used synch cables that cramped the wire they won't warranty that either.

Did not sound as good in the store as it did in the living space.

It's cool you can separate the speakers but it sounds about the same as our other one that was $300 less. 2 stars for the price

LG sound bar never work right...LG rep said to sent it back or return to store. Asked at pick up what was return policy...told it was 30 days. When I return it I was 7 days past THEIR 15 day return day , only "preferred customers" got 30 days!. Have been a Best Buy customer for 30 years but that's not good enough to be preferred. Told I could only get store credit since they had no replacement in stock. When I complained the store manager just laughed at me and said "have a nice day." Check on their internet page and discover BEST BUY still had the sound bar in stock! No more Best Buy for me!

I have always enjoyed using LG's line of products from televisions, headsets to home audio. This SJ7 sound bar offering is called Flex for a reason and it is a welcome arrival. The speakers can be configured for 4.1 or 2.1 mode. The soundbar can either be attached together for a conventional soundbar mode or detached to allow one speaker to be placed in the rear position to create a more discrete surround setup or just two detached speakers in front for a more tradition 2.1 forward firing setup. Detached speakers can be placed in a vertical orientation too. You have to love the versatility that this sort of system allows; the downside is the supposed 4 hours battery life when speakers are in wireless mode. That is barely enough time to enjoy two full length movies. Sound quality is pretty darn good. Highs are not the greatest, mid range is good and the bass from the included subwoofer is plenty strong. These speakers are ideal for small to mid size rooms at most. Larger rooms will require max volume and I found even with that the SJ7 had trouble filling the room successfully. Build quality is one of the highlights of this system. Materials seem very solid and durable. All the components are of a good weight which makes me believe the internal components are of quality too based on my experience with audio equipment. Design is simple enough with a switch located on the rear of one of the speakers to allow for the different listening modes. I definitely like the metal grilles concealing the speaker drivers rather than cloth giving it a higher end feel. Overall I recommend these speakers and definitely think people should give it a try if anything. It is a nice value for the sound quality and speaker position flexibility. Battery life could certainly be better in wireless mode.

It was a good sound bar but not what i expected, my lg sh4 is slightly louder and was cheaper

I received this product in exchange for a review. Overall: This soundbar system by LG provides good sound and and ample amount of versatility accommodate most home theater needs. I found it easy to setup and use and appreciated the ability to set up the speakers in different arrangements. I would recommend these as a good option for someone that wants a speaker system to use with a TV that sits on a stand. Setup: Once unpacked, this soundbar is simple to set up. You will need 3 available outlets, as both speaker components and the subwoofer have their own AC adapters and plugs. After plugging them to an outlet, you can connect them to your TV via the included optical cable. There is also HDMI passthrough, if that works with your setup. Everything comes paired out of the box. One of the speakers has a switch on the back that you can slide to indicate the mode in which you are using the speakers, “Soundbar”, “Rear” and “Portable” modes. In soundbar mode, the speakers can be placed together in front of the TV to look like a traditional soundbar or separated and placed on the included stands to sit upright on either side of the TV. Features and Use: I found the sound quality to be very good with these speakers. I only noticed a drop in sound on one or two occasions, but it was only for a quick moment and while watching streaming video, so it could have easily been from the stream. The included wireless subwoofer adds a good amount of bass to audio sources that make use of it. You can also use this system as an output for a Bluetooth audio source. In addition to being used as a soundbar or side speakers, these speakers can be used in front/rear mode to simulate surround sound. If you have a place to put the 2nd speaker behind your viewing position, this can be a neat option. Also, the speakers can be detached from their power cables to be used in a “Portable” wireless mode for what LG claims is up to 4 hours. It’s a nice option, but I assume most people will have these plugged in for use most of the time.

This sound bar came with the LG oled. Bass is loud but sound isn't loud or clear.
