Super sound. Much better than many higher priced units. Seamless installation and operation. Plug in power and one cable to tv, that's it. No "setting up" necessary. Woofer rocks your bones, crystal clear highs. I was absolutely shocked by the quality of sound at this price.

I bought this sound bar for use with our LG TV in the master bedroom. I did not really expect all that much... I just knew it would have to be better than listening to the TV's small speakers. But, when I turned it on I was amazed with the volume and quality of the sound. You get both optical input and HDMI, and the sound bar is bluetooth capable for streaming from your phones and tablets. Excellent quality and looks great in the room. Great buy!

A great choice for an excellent price. The sound is full and rich; a great enhancer for an at-home movie experience. The only complaint we have is the bass can be overwhelming with the preset options. We always have to customize the settings to control this.

I got in trouble for buying this soundbar open box without consulting my wife. Luckily the first trial after being connected was her college football game. Within a minute, my purchase was approved. Surely filled our large living room with great sound and easy to connect. Love it, especially now that we run our Christmas music through it.

Set up was a breeze and the sound id wonderful! I am excited to use the bluetooth feature!!

Bluetoothing anytime of day rocks the house, let alone my room! Movies and TV are so much more enhanced now! The booming bass and crispy highs are actually more than I need. I never turn the thing all the way up, but more is better than less. Look no further. I am actually glad I did not spend more unnecessarily.

We've been enjoying the sound of this LG quite a bit. The sub is super lightweight and wireless, giving you the freedom to place it wherever works best. There are decent sounding presets and easy control over bass and treble for those of you who like to fine tune the balance. Overall, a great unit.

Great sound quality. The sub works great.I would recommend this sound bar to anyone. Whether it's a movie or a game it felt as if you are right there. Also easy to set up

Selected this system because our old subwoofer stopped woofing. Researched online, and the price for the quality is exactly what we were looking for. Great sound out of this soundbar....we are very pleased. Didn't realize how junky our old one was until we plugged this little guy in. Very sleek, like that it has a digital display.

As far as sound bar's go (in this price range), this one sounds pretty darn good. I like that it displays the volume level on the front facing display, that was a necessity when finalizing the purchase. The only issue I have so far is when sending sound from my Tivo via HDMI to soundbar and then to Vizio TV (w/ ARC CEC enabled), everything works great.....except when powering off. Turning off the TV, while turn off the soundbar (which I wanted) and turning on the TV will turn on the soundbar....but every single time the LG Soundbar defaults back to Optical input and I have to manually change the Soundbar back to HDMI (But if I power off the Soundbar first, before the TV and then power everything back on it stays on the HDMI port). It isn't a deal breaker because I have a Universal remote, but it is one more step in the process. It actually become an annoyance and now I have everything hooked up to my Vizio (which passes 5.1 Audio) and Audio from TV going through the Optical cable. Sounds great for the price and I am happy with it minus that one minor annoyance. Also contacted LG support and they are away of the issue.

It sounds great when you're watching movies and sports! It's very easy to set up! When watching regular tv it feels kinda echo-y.... i also don't like that it comes on automatically when we turn on the tv. Overall, I'm happy with it and should recommend it.

This has pretty good sound output, although I think I'll be happier once I actually mount it. Easy enough for me to set up :) Make sure you pick up a good fiber optic cable if that's how you plan to hook it up; the one provided is pretty much junk.

I like the sound bar overall and I got it at a great price but what I don't want is yet ANOTHER remote. I was able to get the Vizio remote that I had to at least recognize this sound bar and it controlled the volume up/down, however I couldn't get it to truly power it up/down when the TV was. This of course cause it to stay on after the TV is off or doesn't turn it on when the TV is turning on. Of course, that least to grabbing another remote. I solved this issue by getting a Harmony programmable remote but I was not wanting to have to spend another $100 on a combo remote when most TV's allow you to program other functions easily. Why doesn't LG have better documentation on their codes to be used???

Overall a good and cheap sound bar if you find it on sale. Sound is good and setup quick. I wish it had more HDMI inputs (1), but it's not designed or priced to switch sources. They expect your TV to do that. Cinema mode is a little bass heavy, but otherwise it's generally an improvement over built in speakers.

My sound bar comes on with my TV. Right when I start FIOS, I can't change anything for half a minute to a minute. FIOS comes on to the last station it was set to. So, for several seconds, the TV may blare out something in total contrast to what I'm about to tune to. And, mute doesn't work until that half-minute or minute completes. Originally the sound bar started at its maximum, with the TV blaring out far louder than I'd ever set it. But now it starts out turned down to nothing, and I have to use my volume control on my multi-remote to bring the sound up. I don't know how to set this, but it is now set this way, and I like it. Also, it was difficult to work out at first how to get the TV to be silent and rely on the sound bar alone, despite it being an LG TV I bought this year. It would be nice to know how to set/reset this deliberately. But now, I like it. Even my wife, who hated having a receiver and surround sound and NEVER figured out how to use it, can now use FIOS/TV and this LG sound bar when I'm not home to run it for her.

I can finally hear the sound coming from our t.v. and it's AWESOME! You only have to have the sound up to decibel 12 and you can hear it from Mexico! Great technology and totally worth the cost. Also, this was a father's day gift for my husband, but I'm really the one reaping the benefits. :)

If I didn't feel like they were much better than my tv speakers I might have given a lower rating. Have had two the first one messed up after a few days, but switched them out. For the price they are definitely way better than tv speakers, but not the best quality. I'm still happy with it though.

I use the heck out of the blue tooth on this thing. Steam my music from my iPhone to it while I am making dinner. The sound is perfect...especially for those in apartments. I like how my movies sound in the movie mode as well.
