I don't use most of the features or have time to dote this dryer enough to find out what it does, but I'm sure it's great. It seems to work well. I use distilled water in the water dispenser since we have hard water here. Better for the back than an old style model where you must reach down to remove the clothing from the dryer. So far, it's a good dryer.

Wanted as tacking dryer set for first floor bathroom closet and this fit the bill. A bit deeper than we had hoped for, requiring a bump-out of the closet doorframe, but very efficient and quiet dryer that can handle numerous beach towels at once and gets them dried.

We bought this dryer along with the matching washer. We love both! The dryer is quiet and easy to use. It has a child lock which is nice. Our two year old likes to press the pretty buttons and they are right at his hight! The dryer is very versatile, can hold quite a large load. It's also very fast! Most of the time the dryer beats the washer in time. This is something we've never had before. It's so nice being able to switch the laundry over without having to wait long for the dryer. Overall, it's a great product.

This is a fantastic dryer that in my opinion has to be one of the best on the market. My fiancee and I had done a lot of research prior to this purchase and we decided to pull the trigger on this over the comparable Samsung model. Her biggest need was to dry fewer loads and get our comforters in there. Well mission accomplished, it serves our every need with room to spare. I can see splurging for the larger model with a house full of kids as I am sure that one is just as good but this thing looks sharp, was well priced, drys exceptionally and has excellent features. We got a great deal at $899 and got the pedestals for half off at $125 so all in all under $2000 with the additional 5% for the best buy credit card and free shipping and installation.

First and foremost, this is an awesome dryer. The steam clean/dry function is a great feature. With a baby on the way, we have cleaned all the toys with steam in the dryer. Perfect to get them santized/cleaned before the toys touch the baby. Since the dryer is not hooked up to the water line, you have to fill the water container. I don't find that a hassle at all. In case the water level is low, the dryer will let you know to Add Water. In my case, i have to change the default setting for drying. Even though there is a capacity of making my own custom drying program, i haven't done it yet, but will do. Coming from a old dryer, it seems like there are so many setting and buttons to press, but it's all worth it. Took a couple of days to get used to the new setting and their effects on drying clothes. The dryer is as efficent as it can be. Even though it may start by showing a 59 minute drying time, but it stops as soon as it senses that the clothes are dry. That helps to save energy and electric bill $'s. In about the months time i have had it, we have used pretty much all the cycles. You may have to adjust the setting depending upon your clothes and load. Overall, we are very satisfied and happy with your purchase. I had to call the service on my washer (seperate issue). There was nothing wrong with the washing machine (I was fooled by technology), but at least the repair guy told me that they hardly have any repairs on the LG machines. That made me feel even better about our purchase. I hope you enjoy your dryer as much as we are.

This dryer along with matching washer is excellent. They are state of the art and have a high consumer rating. this dryer as with matching washer has the highest energy conserving rating available. the dryer drys clothes extremely well in little time and is very quiet. It also never gets much of a lint build up do to the force in which it expels air through the vent tube. steam option works excellent. The real plus is that the sales person Zach and his floor manager Alex in the Stockton, Ca. store helped to make this purchase possible by assisting with a line of credit and giving the best price in the industry. Best Buy carries the best products but in my experience products are sold by even better people

I bought this dryer to match the LG font load washer that I bought at the same time. I am 100% satisfied with the purchase so far. It is quiet, dries clothes fast. My only complaints, which are pretty minor are: - Timer alert is kind of like a melody ring tone. I wish it was louder like an old school alarm. - Dryer doesn't dry King size comforters. The King comforter fits, but it took a couple dry cycles to dry it. Overall, I am pleased with the dryer. I have a fairly large household; 2 toddlers both under the age of 3, my wife and my in-laws live with us. The new LG washer and dryers has cut out 1 load (from 4 loads of laundry to 3 loads).

This is a large capacity dryer, that easily dries the clothing I pull from my matching washer. Dryer works great and you can watch it adjust dry time based upon the dampness of the clothes. Also love the steam cycle to knock out wrinkles. Only negative is you do pay more money to get the larger capacity washer / dryer which has more functions, but I've found for both washer and dryer there's really only 2 or 3 functions you will commonly use!! However the larger size only gives you this options and of course that means it costs more $$$. Overall very happy with this dryer thought.

This is a fantastic dryer. It is very quiet, can handle a lot of clothes at once (double what my old dryer could handle), and finishes quickly. Randomly, usually with loads of all lightweight clothes, the automatic detection setting can leave one article of clothing a touch damp, but all in all, I am very pleased.

this is a great dryer with plenty of room for large loads, it is simple to use, and my wife loves doing laundry again. that's great for me.

We replaced an old dryer that has been repaired a few times. This LG is really fast, leaves the clothes unwrinkled, is quiet and looks good. We like the drying rack for shoes. We also like the steam function for rugs to get rid of pet dander and so forth from items that cannot go in the washer. Consumer Reports rates LG dryers and washers as the best in brand reliability. As in, not needing repairs. All of the other brands are not even close in this category, (except for Samsung, which is a close second). I would recommend the LG products, and this dryer in particular, to every one. I do a lot of research before buying anything over $100. Besides LG being the most reliable product, I also did research on prices. Best Buy had the best price--really. Even over Amazon and every other place I found on the Internet. Plus, there is free delivery, install and removal of my old dryer included free. Can't beat that.

We love our LG washer and have had no problems with it so far. We also got the extended warranty just in case, but thankfully have not had to use it. The chime is loud enough to hear downstairs (we have our laundry room upstairs), and this dryer definitely dries clothes faster than our old dryer did. I love the chime because I'll put in a load, set it up for my desired dryness, and it will give an estimate of how long it will take. However, the dryer typically will not run the entire estimated time and will finish early. The chime alerts me to when I can set the next load (I wish my Maytag washer did this). When really packing something in the canister (e.g., queen size comforter), the dryer does have issues with uneven drying (as most dryers will). It will cut off early, not dry the inner parts of the comforter, and will require you be more proactive of flipping/turning the comforter and running multiple cycles to dry. I've never used the steam cycle, but my wife has. She indicated it helped, but I didn't notice the difference.

At first glance, I thought I'd need a degree to work this but it turned out to be pretty simple. I love the little song it plays when it's finished as I always forget about laundry once I walk away. Also really like the drying rack. I'll be using that often. I haven't used all the features yet but so far it works wonderfully, especially with it's "sister" washing machine.

Excellent product. Loads of useful features. Pretty quiet. Gets teh clothes dry without overdoing it--I don't use any-static or fabric softener products and don't miss them. I really like this dryer and the steam feature is a nice addition.

Only had it for two weeks so haven't had a problem with it yet but I love it. It seems to dry stuff quicker. Love the sensor part, it doesn't over dry clothes. I could leave the clothes in over night and it doesn't wrinkle like our old dryer which we had for over 12 years. It wasn't a front load either though.

High capacity and dries quickly. The steam feature is great for getting slight wrinkles out of shirts, but won't take all the wrinkles out of a heavily bunched up shirt.

Purchased the dryer 2 months after purchasing the LG washer. The sanitation cycle works great. Drys cloths very quickly with large capacity loads. Steam feature is awesome.

This dryer has sensors to adjust the drying time as its cycling through. It is energy efficient and large enough to do blankets and large loads of towels! Great job LG!

This gorgeous dryer compliments the LG front loading washer beautifully. Plenty of cycles to choose from and very quiet for a dryer! My husband used to complain when I did laundry at night because the noise of the dryer would interfere with him watching tv....no more! In fact, I no longer have to close the laundry room door when the dryer is running to cover up the noise either. Clothes are dry rather quickly and the lint filter works really good! I cant believe the amount of lint it picks up after one load! The signal when done is very pleasant and loud enough for me to hear in the next room without being annoying.
