I did a fair amount of research using Consumer Reports, and we went with this LG model because we got a very good price. No regrets. Easy install (did it myself), and although it appears quite complex at first blush, the user interface is very intuitive. Doesn't overdry or underdry our clothes. Large capacity. Can handle shoes (comes with a shoe rack). Very quiet. Nice ring when done. Works exactly as we'd hoped. Would definitely recommend. The only complaint is that it is short. We didn't purchase the optional footer, and in hindsight, perhaps we should have. But the price seemed high for the convenience.

Bought this along with the washer it accompanies. It works great, and the steam and de-wrinkling features are great. Also very energy efficient, and not especially loud. P

I thought that the dryer had more features than I would need...I was wrong, I love this dryer. It is easy to use, fast, efficient, and quiet. It usually dries my comforters, and other bulky items, in one cycle. Didn't think I would use (or like) the steam cycles, but I have used the steam cycle several times and love it.

this dryer is incredibly efficient and runs quiet and drys very well. The steam feature is also really great for pillows and couch cushions

I have only had this machine for 3 weeks but so far I like the efficiency. I don't have to turn it on again because the clothes aren't dry. I love the steam option for keeping clothes from wrinkling. It's attractive and plays a little tune when it's done. It has just enough options, not too many. It is fairly quiet.

This new dryer works very fast compared to our Old LG Steam natural gas dryer, which typically is not the case. It takes about about 20 minutes for a regular (whites) load (not a fully loaded) And being that I am familiar with and have worked on these type of appliances, I believe part of the reason for the new dryer working so well is that the venting from the dryer room to the outside is new because the home is new. So if your home is older and the venting is a longer run to the outside and you find the new dryer takes longer to dry your clothes, then you need to make sure your vent is clean and clear! There are companies that can clean your venting. The cleaner and shorter the run of the venting system from the dryer to the outside will have a direct effect on your electrical bill! The less the dryer runs to get your clothes dry, the less your electrical bill will be!

Like the dryer. Like the wrinkle free feature. Clothes aren't wrinkled when they come out. Quiet dryer. Nice signal that tells you when the load is done. Easy to use. Steam feature is nice. Not something I will use every day, but nice to have.

I'v had the dryer approximately one month and really like it. I am amazed at the increase in technology level since my last dryer 19 years ago. The SteamFresh option is nice to get wrinkles out & easy to use. I did learn some lessons in purchasing this & washer & pedestals. I was not careful enough at looking at plug to see if elec or gas dryer. My mistake was realized just in time to hold off delivery & get correct one ordered. If only I had remembered I had the paper work & would have been easy to know it was electric! Also, the wrong size pedestals were ordered by sales clerk at store. Delivery people noted this before scheduled delivery, so there was a delay in original del. time while correct one ordered. Lesson--check yourself & make sure all right stuff is ordered. The store & delivery people were nice & helpful.

Great energy efficient and high capacity dryer! I've had it for about a month now and love it!! I feel like it dries my large loads in half the time compared w my old dryer!!

Very quiet and dries quickly with very little wrinkling if any. also has a programmable preset button that makes the regular loads easier to time dry without under or over doing it! haven't used the steam dry but if its anything like the regular drying it will work excellently too. I bought it on sale for only $10 more than the standard dryer of this version so i would say i got an excellent value.

I love this new dryer! its super quite and dryes very well. I have not had a chance to explore all the options on it yet but I am looking forward to doing so soon. Oh and enjoy the music it plays when wash is done!! Super energy saver, the sensors decide when everything is dry and it stops by itself so it does not keep running with clothes aready dry. I love it!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS DRYER! BOUGHT IT ON BLACK FRIDAY FOR A GREAT DEAL AND I HAVE AN LG WASHER AND LOVE IT. IT COMES WITH A RACK SO YOU CAN DRY THINGS LIKE BOOTS WITHOUT THEM TUMBLING IN THE DRYER! EVERYTHING DRYS REALLY FAST AND IT IS QUIET! PERFECT NO COMPLAINTS SO FAR!

Love this awesome dryer. Highly recommend. Its very simple to operate. It has many settings for different things.... Very efficient , and dries in a lot less time than any of my other dryers. When the clothes are done they are also less wrinkled. Best dryer I have ever owned.

With a new child on the way, it was time to find a new washer/dryer set. We happened to find this on sale and have been very pleased so far. The shortest cycle seems to be about 15 minutes for small loads and can go up to an hour or so. It automatically adjusts based on the weight and dampness. I like the steam features and the shoe rack. It also very quiet until the end when it plays a random song.

We love this dryer! It dries clothes fast and is very quiet. It was easy for the kids to learn the settings. If you want a front loader that's energy efficient, easy to use, and affordable this dryer is a no brainer! Totally love it!!!!

This is the best dryer that I have bought. I would recommend it to anyone. It is quiet, has all the settings that are needed for drying and has the steam function, which has saved me lots of money on my dry cleaning bill.

Bought this dryer and matching washer on sale. Easy to use. The kids love to do all the laundry now. Love that it has a steam cycle! The end of cycle music gets my attention so now I don't forget to get the clothes out!

It is a great dryer, sturdy and quiet operation, front panel very friendly and easy to operate. Better results in shorter cycles that means energy saving. So far, so good. We are very pleased with this purchase.

This is a wonderful, great energy saver and easy to use dryer. Using the steam programs allows you to get wrinkle free clothes and stop worrying abut ironing. A lot of great functions. Great performance!
