I had a front loader previously that had that mildew smell. I ditched it and got this washer. This washer is great. It has a huge drum, so I can even wash my comforters. It has a sanitize cycle and washes clothes in extra hot water. The allergine cycle works well. I washed my son's giant stuffed toy crocodile on this cycle and it came out looking and smelling new. My clothes feel softer too. This washer also has a magnet to hold the door slightly open when it is empty to prevent that mold smell like the old models used to get. It also has a drain to drain out the old water and a filter to catch those loose items like hair, lint, a key (which happened on my old front loader) etc. when it gets through the cracks. The only downfall is the wash cycles are long. The sanitize takes almost 2 hours. There is a quick wash cycle. Only 15 mins.

Still getting used to front loader instead of top loader, but is getting the job done, Typical cycles are only slightly longer than old machine, Really gets clothes spun nearly dry. Seems to be gentle, less lint found in the dryer.

Dries things very quickly and adjusts drying time appropriately. I have not tested the steam function and have not used the drying rack yet. Great dryer!

Dry well. Sanitize fin tigon allow comforter be steamed and came out just like new... Flurry. Also, great to dry towels. It is like never got washer with a new look. Awesome.

This is an excellent product for the price. It matched our existing washer and fit perfectly in the space we had. It does an excellent job with both small and large loads.

This is the best dryer I've ever had. I love the steam feature. Not only does it help removes wrinkles, it also sanitizes!

My over all review is good. I would have given it five stars but I think lg was lacking in the spin dry. It shakes a lot, and moves around. I've leveled it many times and it sits on the basement floor. That should be sturdy enough. I guess not. I thought other people in there reviews didn't know what they were talking about when they said it shakes a lot. I guessed they just didn't level it right. But, it seems it's just in the design how they made it. It works great, super good for my work clothes. Uses alot less water. The only downfall is it's loud and shakes on spin cycle. You can adjust with the options on the front for a slower spin and worksuch better. At the rate it spins at full speed your clothes come out almost dry. So for me to turn it down a notch is okay. I bought this on sale for $685. I guess I would be bummed if I had paid full price. The whirlpool had good reviews. I also like the song it plays when it's done. I would buy this again if I had another 25% off.

I bought this washer dryer set because I needed one. They look great. They are very loud. Sounds like earthquake. But I just shut the door. I worry that it will break or hit the wall. Delivery was just ok. Took a month to schedule appointment and when they got there they didn't have the right size stacking kit. They wanted to leave in garage. I said no just don't stack them. I will deal with returning stacking kit to bestbuy. This is not what I had hoped for but I needed to do laundry. I still haven't talked to best buy yet about returning stacking kit or rescheduling stacking kit install. Mostly because I suspect it's going to be troublesome and I don't need the headache. I will call them this weekend. Overall look great. Sound loud. Wrong parts unsuccessful stacking.

We bought this dryer and the matching wash machine and stacked them. It dries the clothes completely and efficiently. We don't need to run it on extra cycles to get the clothes dry. The steam options are great too. If you're like us and forget to unload the clothes as soon as the dryer is done, choosing the Steam Fresh cycle steams and tumbles the clothes to reduce a lot of the wrinkles.

I just love my new washer, we bought the set and they look awesome, work awesome. My 14 year old daughter enjoys doing her own laundry now!!!

Haven't had it to long but it looks great and does a really good job. It is what my wife wanted and we both think we made an excellent choice.

I would definitely recommend this dryer to purchase! Very quiet, many different settings, we rarely have to use an iron anymore!

Dryes quick, has a light so, no more drying in the dark. Easy to wipe off. Cuts down drying time and alarms you when finished.

Plenty of settings and very versicle. It has a good price point compared to other models with more bells and whistles.

I'm enjoying my new dryer. It takes less time to dry my clothes saving on electricity. Very happy with my purchase
