I purchased this based on various reviews, including "professional" reviews. 1) First use the machine literally destroyed itself. Drum slammed into machine and dented it. Potentially, this was a shipping issue, so I chalked it up to "every product has a dud." 2) three months in the LE error comes on. This is the Locked Motor error. Tried all the documented techniques to clear the error code. Tried all the phone customer service techniques to clear codes (this includes the standard reset of the machine). Always comes back and the drum never turns by the motor (but turns freely by hand). Even if these issues did not occur so soon after buying, the controls on this are weak, at best. Very poorly documented. E.g. a simple "cancel" and drain is not there!!! Next machine will be what we had previously, a Samsung (despite the recall of the one model).

This replaced my previous LG dryer that gave out after 14 years. I was very happy with the previous LG dryer, so when it came time to look for a new one, it was going to be LG. I also have the matching LG washer, but besides the products looking good together, I wanted another dryer I knew I could trust.

I really like this dryer with the amazing steam function. Very versatile, reasonable price.

Not very heavy duty. Drum is vey thin compared to my 7 year old Kenmore. Has lots of options. Haven't tried the steamer yet

Great dryer. Has worked perfectly and is very quiet. Not a fan of the color.

I have 2 LG phones - my second set. And they outperfomed Samsung - so I decided to purchase LG Washer and Dryer - since the reviews were exceptional on all websites. Best Buy has always been competitive - so that is where I went first Bought them on the spot. Thanks BB

This dryer has a lot of techie features. I like the versatility.

The quick dry is great and works well. If you use another cycle it take a little long to dry.

Dryer dries well. The settings are not completely obvious if you can change things.

Dries well and offers lots of options, including extra dry setting. Would have rated it a 5 except pet fur sticking to the drum ribs. I clean them down after each load, which is easy to do at eye height in a stacked dryer. I had concerns that the settings & knobs would be too high for me to use easily, as I'm 5'2" tall, but it's no problem.

Easy to use. Kinda hard to figure dryer out but works good

Nice drier but doesn’t dry quickly. Seems to take a while to dry clothes fully.

Clothes are still damp after the cycle ends. It is an intermittent problem. One load of towels dried completely with additional heat set. Other loads of cottons - socks, etc. didn’t dry completely even with additional heat set. Good thing I live in Colorado, they finished drying on top of dryer.

So far the dryer is great. We needed side venting and this dryer accommodates this easily with a kickout (i.e. no cutting required). Best Buy does not carry the LG side vent kit so I purchased it separately from Amazon. The installers had no problem installing the side vent. It all went very smoothly.

Also purchased the washer, absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Both washer and dryer are excellent products and clean my clothes 100 times better than previous washer and dryer. Would recommend for any Household
