I bought this dryer when we moved to our new place. We had the previous version of the LG dryer and liked it. I'm happy to say that the consistency is still the same. I decided to get the grey version this time, and it looks really nice in our laundry room. It has multiple settings for drying and does a good job drying everything. We have the matching washer as well, which actually does a good job "spinning" most of the water out of the clothes beforehand. The jingle to notify you that the cycle is done is also funny and makes me chuckle every time I hear it.

Compact so it fit in the limited space of my utility closet. Runs quietly and completes loads quickly

We got the matching set and its my first ever that we've bought new. I love the features. The dryer is really quiet which really surprised me. It dries all the clothes pretty quickly too. My last dryer i had to run it twice to get a load fully dry. So far not once have i had to do that and it usually takes a little less than an hr. I hope this set lasts a very, very long time!

Huge space to put the cloths. Get the cloths dry . I hardly hear any noise.

The old dryers used to be products of pure necessity. They, on paper, had multiple functions but you really used only one or two of the settings. This particular LG model is a step in a different direction, albeit one that is just an evolutionary step, rather than revolutionary. Pros: (+) The product is pretty, very quiet and easy to use. There are many many many (too many) options but they are easy to navigate if poorly/wakwardly named. You can download some online programs as well, if you so choose. Like I said, you will mostly use one or two of the programs. (+) Steam dry does a good job but it is one feature that I doubt most users will use more than a handful of times. We have dogs in the house. The feature comes in handy when drying large dog beds. (+) Reasonably priced. (It was on sale when I purchased it) Cons: (-) Some of the presets do not dry items "dry" enough. (-) The signal is annoying but it is very easy to turn off. (-) When you close the door, the machine shudders, probably due to thin constructions. Our washer feels very solid so after that one, it feels flimsy but this is really a perception and not really a shortcoming per se.

Does a great job-quiet and efficient. Best Buy installers were thorough. Grade A all around.

We replaced a Kenmore Elite that was 8 years old. This LG is far superior in features and drying capabilities. My wife loves that it signals when the clothes are damp-dry, and it is accurate. It dries big loads in a fraction of the time the old dryer took. We haven't tried steam or communicating with the dryer using an Android phone with NFC capabilities (yes it really does that).
