Great product... except, and this bugs me, within a year the buds came apart at the seam, other earbud also looks like it will come apart too. Not well made design of earbud. The 1 year warranty does not cover defective body of earbud. Now using one bud until it eventually comes apart. So sad. Love the fit and sound

Great Buds but no multipoint connection

These are nice buds. The sound is rich, the fit is great, and the controls work well. In the end though I returned them. The specification information indicates "defiantly", which I understood to mean "multipoint" connection. For me, that feature is a necessity from my Bluetooth headphones. If you don't need to connect to 2 devices at the same time (multi-point) I would definitely recommend these buds.

These have been one of the biggest suprises of my earbud escapades. Amazing sound (not boomy, but clear), amazing fit, amazing connection, amazing touch controls, amazing for phone calls and pocket friendly case that can make other devices wireless by using is as a dongle. On the people complaining about the dongle not working, you have to follow the steps exactly as the manual explains. I cant recommend these enough. They're not the best for HIIt training, but work for light workout days. Give them a try. You'll be suprised how awesome they are.

While these earbuds are marketed as noise cancelling earbuds, their noise cancelling capabilities are a bit lacking when compared to others. However, this was not an issue for me as I mainly wanted a pair of earbuds to use during my workouts. These are perfect for that as they are both comfortable and fit snug in my ear while still providing great sound.

Glad I purchased these FP9. Only minor was the transparency mode not as good as AirPods Pro and wireless charging. But what it lacks in transparency, has so much more to offer by far…It has up to 7 EQ’s (2 are Customizable) plug into devices without Bluetooth, UV nano charging case, 3D soundstage (spatial audio), whisper mode, volume control on earpods, Also very comfortable and snug in ears, even when laying down sideways on a pillow. Don’t think about it just get it!!!

I enjoy the sound quality, the fit, and battery life but I've had multiple issues with my pair.
First, the special wired mode on my headphones did not work despite my best efforts and the manual and LG documentation provided nothing useful. I tried multiple devices and every combination and interpretation if the included instructions and nothing. Its clearly broken.
Second, shortly after maybe a month of use the right earbud stopped producing sound. I was still recognized by the app and i could still do controls like play/pause, but no sound would come out despite my best efforts. Wildly disappointing to see these fail so quickly.
I'm going to try for an exchange for a new pair instead of a refund. Well see how it goes and if a full return is necessary. I really came in wanting to love these too.

I own about 25 or so various truly wireless earbuds - yes too many but I can't stop! These from LG are easily among the best ones, right up there with Apple, Jabra, Sony, etc. The ability to use these as an adjunct to any non-wireless device (like a TV, or car stereo or airplane audio, etc) really extends their functionality. The fit is excellent, the sound is great, the accompanying works very well also - can't beat these for the price.

Great sound quality. But the case doesn’t stay charged very long. It turns yellow/red within 4-5 hours. The earbuds keep a great charge, about 9-11 hours!

I purchased these buds a few weeks ago after trying several different pairs. These are hands down one of the most comfortable pairs I've ever worn. They're so light and i cam wear them for hours. My only complaint about them is that the ANC seems to be a bit lacking for this price.

Best in ear devices I have used. Better than my AirPods Pro and battery is much better. Seem to fit better and stay in, I have large ears so this is usually a huge problem with other in ear devices I use. Connects with Apple and Android devices seamlessly. App works well. Would definitely purchase again.

Wanted to give everyone my review of the LG TONE FP9 as well how I fixed the "plug & wireless" feature that didn't work for me out of the box.
Review first then the fix later.
background:
I have only owned 3 pairs of true wireless earbuds, Jabra elite 75t earbuds, Raycon Work earbuds, and these. after 3 different rounds in the washing machine my elite 75t's gave up the ghost otherwise i really liked them. the reason i went with the raycon work buds was because i could use the left bud only which the 75t's couldn't do. but i hated just about everything about the raycon work buds. the fit hurt my ears and couldn't get a good seal, anc was awful, and the touch controls were difficult to master.
LG TONE FP9 i got these after watching a Linus tech tips video on these as well as a few other YouTube creators. decided to pull the trigger on them. im very pleased i did.
Fit:
At first use i had the sensation like the right bud wasn't staying in well. so i changed the ear gels to the large that helped and the right still felt as though it was wanting to fall out. i have decided after 40+hrs of use its just my imagination because ive done manual labor, eaten, laughed, ran, weightlifted, and sweat in these earbuds and they haven't budged. i would have to say as well as these fit i probably feel like the elite 75t fit better but only marginally.
Sound:
Im not an audiophile. i couldn't begin to setup my own custom eq. i just went through the preset eq selections and settled on the one that LG Meridian calls "immersive" it sounds good to me. i have primarily listened to audio books and a little bit of rock/metal music.
ANC:
I work at a industrial plant around powered conveyors, devices driven by compressed air, clanging metal noises. the room i work in requires hearing protection by OSHA standards. while the anc isn't the best i think its better than the elite 75t and way better than the raycon work buds. i can use the ear buds in a noisy environment that OSHA deems unsafe without hearing protection and these earbuds cancel out enough noise that i can still hear my audio at half volume.
Battery:
Battery on this device probably isnt as good as i expected. but its not so bad i feel i need to be charging it all the time. if im at work im using them 4-6hrs so i have felt i have had to charge these a bit. i can still go 3 days without charging the case. the buds themselves i have never ran the battery down so far with a couple of 4hr stents of anc use. Battery isn't a huge issue for me, Im always where i can charge a device for the most part and if im not i have a portable battery i keep on me when im on the move.
Plug & wireless:
a feature that as far as im aware is exclusive to these LG TONE FP9. ive had these for 3 weeks now and I just tried to use this feature today before writing the review. best buys review area was the only area i could find that had mention of the feature not working.
my pair also wasn't working the first time i went to try it. so i searched the internet to find a solution without any luck. saw people on bby's reviews saying lg didn't reply or help whatever. I messaged LG's support account on facebook through messenger and representative Merlin Got me straightened away.
TLDR to fix my Plug & wireless problem using the instructions from Merlin i just had to reset the earbuds by making sure the switch is set to bluetooth mode (not plug & wireless) you touch either of the earbuds touch pad till the case led turns red (10 seconds) after that it fixed my problem. before pairing it to my phone i tried the Plug & wireless with success then i paired them to my phone and tried it again and it worked.

Okay look. Just so you dont think i am biased fro. The start. These do not work for me. Let me explain why. I have a thing for bluetooth headphones since way before they became popular. I have tried almost every brand there is. And there are a few that are above all on quality and sound. For me though have been the LGs. I have stayed with them for about 6 years. On the neck band models. Now allow me to tell you why these particular one are not for me. I am a welder, and when the noice cancelation mixes together with the shock static from welding. It creates chaos inside my ear. Other than that, these Meridian partners are an awesome pick to use for quality. They are awesome headphones. They are just jot for me. Ill stick to LGs neck bands untill they add noice cancelation. Then ill have to look elsewhere.

Purchased this as a gift for my wife. She has not had too many issues with the buds so far. They seemed to disconnect themselves from her IPhone but we are hoping that was just a one time thing. I quickly re-paired them to her phone and they were good to go. She says the sound quality is very good. I have talked to her while she was using them. I could hear her clearly but it sounded at times like she was talking from far away. Not sure if that is a mic issue with these. But, overall, good price and LG's products have been good to us in the past.

Awesome pair of wireless earbuds and it is fantastic that I can connect the case to an external device. Two things though that I wish these had:
1) the Plug and Wireless Mode (where you can connect to an external device) only works via USB C to AUX, and not USB C to USB, that would make this a plus and allow for audio and charging (since this does not have wireless charging, it would allow for charging and listening. Could be a future update)
2) This is a minor inconvenience. I am using an iPhone and it may be limited to my device but when I disconnect from the Plug and Wireless Mode, it doesn't connect back to Bluetooth and I am needing to do it manually.
