It does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only have the Tone Pro HBS-780 because Best Buy no longer carries the HBS-770. The same goes for the 770. My original headset was the HBS-760 and I loved it. It worked for about 19 months before one of the earphones stopped working. I had the extended warranty so got the 770. That only worked 5 months before one of the earphones stopped. I now have the HBS-780 and the microphones are very sensitive. People I am talking to always complain that it is hard to hear me because the microphone rubs against my hair or seat belt while driving. Also the magnets are not real strong for keeping earbud on headset when not in use. Needless to say I am glad I did not buy another warranty because the newer models are worse and Best Buy doesn't carrying the older models.

Better than previous versions...

Every year is a small step forward in a better direction. Well, now I can say that I actually am impressed as sound quality and call quality is better than any previous versions and it makes this an easy recommendation!

This is my 3rd replacement pair, within 18 month time span due to one side stopped working. I highly recommend purchasing the protection plan with these! I'm glad I did! Otherwise, good sound quality.
