The volume quit working on my previous set and I was unable to turn it up loud enough to hear when there was any outside noise.

Most of the time I can't hear to clear the other person, but I noticed this with every Bluetooth I've bought. Even the most expensive ones sound the same. Overall it's not bad for the price.
