The party(ies) on the other end hear(s) a muffled voice that they can barely make out. This product also does not work properly even when just using it when talking to someone on the phone, whether the other person is using a landline or a cell phone. The fancy LG headset has the same problem. Interestingly, my LG from 10 years ago does work in all of the aforementioned situations. What ever LG did to "up grade" these headphones was a complete disaster!
