Because they don't go in as far they sound a little tinny. I'm using the smallest end piece but it doesn't help. Love the retractable hear pieces and love that the voice talks to me and gives me info.

Nice set of headphones

I still am a bit careful though because the wire leading to the plug is quite then. Sometimes I have to wiggle the plugs to get them to position just right.

Great for hands free driving, studying, or those long flights. Sound, durability, functionality, and price are just right. Only drawback with the retractable ear piece cables is they are just a tad too short...maybe 1/2" longer and they would have 5 stars.
