Our 13 year old Maytag washer died and we needed to purchase a new washer. A lot has changed in the 13 years we had the Maytag. I did a fairly comprehensive search on the web to learn about different washers and the reviews given to them. Plus, we really didn’t want to spend over $1000 for a washer. Initially, I thought we would purchase a Maytag, but after seeing it and reading the reviews, we shelved that idea. I started looking at Samsung, LG, Kenmore and Electrolux. We ended up settling for the LG. I am so happy with the LG. It was installed without any problems, especially the balance problems I’d read about in other reviews. The LG is so quiet and our clothes, towels, sheets, etc. are so much cleaner. I’ve not had any issues with the cycle times-they’re a lot shorter than the Maytag. Our washer is in a separate laundry room so we keep the door open to minimize any mold and smell issues, of which we’ve had none. I did read all of the Owner’s Manual and follow those instructions. I’m thrilled with the LG and would definitely purchase again.

I bought this together with the paired LG front loading washer and couldn't be more satisfied. It's hard to get super excited about a dryer, but this one is great. It tumbles the clothes well (nothing balled-up at the end), has a good capacity, and is quiet. The controls are intuitive and easy to use.

Can't believe I got this at a big discount. Nice feature, and works as it should. My only complaint was the filter, it has too many ribs that makes it a little tedious to clean. With huge capacity, steam feature and lots of option settings, I'm very pleased.

this dryer is great. it dries so much faster then my old kenmore unit. I would say it takes half the time. everything always comes out dry, never have to do a second run. the capaity is huge. The lint trap works very well and i don't notice any lint on my outlet vent like my old unit would pass through.

The sales representative at Best Buy knew all of his products and was able to help make the selection easier for us. Both the washer and dryer have features we wanted such as the ability to dry shoes on a rack. The steam feature is easy to use and doesn’t require a hookup. Also units are quiet.

Love the size, how quiet it is, ease of function. My only "complaint" is that the stand would be really helpful, as I have to get down on the floor to reach way in the back to retrieve things like a sock or other small items. But the height of the stand that goes with it doesn't work in our space due to a window.

Dryers should all be reliable, and the old Maytag was. The new LG is noticeably faster and almost silent. The first loads on sensor dry were a little damp, but one bump higher on the dryness setting cured that. Most of the clothes come out needing no ironing. Very satisfied.

Works well and drys clothes well. I had an issue with some of my clothes not drying but it was a connection error on the installer's part. Make sure the vent is snug. Other than that I love the steam feature. This is a better one as it connects directly to the water lines.

I love the color of the dryer and all of the features are super. I have a LG washer that is match to dryer and they are simple to use. The dryer has a sream feature but have not tried that yet but will soon. I would buy this again.

This dryer rocks! Drys fast. Steam feature is a great addition for freshening up lightly worn clothes, but can even take the smell out of denim work jeans you just need to wear, but forgot to wash the night before.

I waited a long time for this dryer and it was worth the wait. I love it! I've used the steam feature twice because I didn't get the clothes out when I should have. My towels dry better and smell fresher since they have more room to tumble. Great buy!!

Have used LG appliances in the past. This dryer replaced a Samsung we have had for 3 years and can honestly say it’s great to be back to LG. Is very quiet and even out comforter is dry when cycle is complete.

This is a wonderful dryer. It has a very large capacity and is extremely quiet. It dries quickly; clothes come out fresh and wrinkle-free. One thing to be aware of is that it has a pull-our "drawer" on the upper left front corner of the unit to provide water for the steam feature. If you stack the dryer on a washer, it becomes more difficult to reach, remove, and fill, especially if you put it in a closed space, like a closet. However, overall, this is a wonderful product, we've been nothing but pleased.

And the washer wasn't bad! This thing dries quickly and quietly. I havent quite figured out a difference with the steam functions yet. This is by far the most effective dryer Ive purchased thus far. Easy to recommend.

I really like the dryer. It is quiet and does a great job. It's neat to be able to add a steam cycle for shirts. They don't come out ironed, but they come out much better than they did with the previous dryer.

This machine dries and doesn't cook or leave your clothes damp. Perfect every time. Quiet. Multiple settings that fill all of my needs. I bought the matching washer and the two work great together.

I love this dryer it is what I needed and more!! It has the steam that is an asset!! Large capacity is great for California king comforters and many other articles of linens!!!

The LG Electric Dryer is Awesome. Iove the fact that it weighs the contents to determine how long the load needs to run. Less time means less electricity:) It's efficient and easy to use!

The dryer is very quiet especially if you turn off the end of cycle song. The auto dry works well to. Easy to change up the standard cycles if needed.

simple to use, handles large loads and small ones to. Love the steam settinings and the song it plays when done. so much nicer than a buzzer...unit is so quiet when it works. Great BUY
