Pros: can pause cycle to re-adjust weight distribution or add clothes (unlike my previous top load machine); holds large items & bulky items (pillows, bedding); balances relatively quickly Cons: very deep (shorter family members can't get clothes out easily); when using colder water settings it overcompensates by making cycle take a LOT longer; NORMAL cycle is a little hard on the clothes (agitation & spin speed); Can't soak items by starting machine & turning off/pausing due to auto drain child safety feature (and soak setting isn't as long as I would like) Caveat: I haven't tried all the special functions yet

I did a lot of research and read reviews on this washer/dryer set. I chose it because I liked the large capacity size with no agitator in the drum. The only thing I can say positive about this washer is that it is large. But, it's too smart; I just want it to wash my clothes. I don't like that you cannot start the washer with the lid up. So when you inevitably find 4 more pieces of clothing needed washed after the water has started up and the lid has locked, you must pause it, wait for it to stop, completely, then unlock the lid, THEN add your item(s). I don't like the 2 trays to use for your detergent and softener. I pour my detergent in straight on top of my clothes. If you use any softener, the machine adds the softener to the cycle at the same time it adds the detergent. So we have competing smells here. I want the clothes washed, then add the softener when rinsing. It defeats the purpose then. It is energy efficient but because it uses so little water, I have to either pick another setting or rewash the clothes again. Or stop the cycle mid wash and use the add water feature or turn it off and then start ALL over again. Heaven forbid the thing gets off balanced! Certain items I insist on washing sometimes do this. The machine's solution is to drain the water, fill it up, push air into the load to move the items around then drain and fill back up - it's awful!! I have wasted several several washer-fulls of water to this. It is just better to open the lid and as best you can, move the items yourself. They will be heavy, it will hurt your back, it might take a few tries, but in the end, you will save money and water. If I had to do it all over again, I would just buy the biggest washing machine I could find with the simplest controls. I don't feel like this washer washes any better than any other and that detergents in general these days aren't as good as getting stains out as they used to be. (No matter what brand I use.)

washes great, better than front loader I had before. It takes time to get used to. Never Use high spin on clothes, I recommend medium on jeans. Also use water plus on all loads. If you never had a front load washing machine you will think this one is not putting enough water, believe me it puts in more water than a front loader.

Wish it were a little more quite. Otherwise, I love this washer and would recommend it!

The sales staff was very knowledgeable. The delivery process was very efficient. The delivery men prompt courteous efficient. I have only had the washer for a short time and am so far pleased with its performance. Some of the cycles seem to be a little too long so I have used the short wash and it performs very well.

Good washer! Need to choose the extra water option sometimes to get clothes cleaner.

Bought this a few months ago. Absolutely love it. It's quiet, efficient and uses less water. The only problem is how deep the tub is. I have to use a step stool to reach all the clothes. But I am vertically challenged. Lol

This washer has worked great so far. I was a little skeptical about not having a machine with an agitator, but it hasn't been an issue for getting clothes clean. The added capacity is nice for bulky items like bedding.
