I purchased the 5480 CW washer that goes with our LG dryer. I like the dryer but regret purchasing the washing machine. The factory settings don't match up with what the machine does. The Cotton/Normal setting indicates that the water will be warm. The water is cold. The Delicate setting runs 1 hour and 35 minutes. The factory setting shown on the washer does not indicate that it will soak your clothes, but that is what it does. The spin setting indicated is Low, but is more like the High spin. This is unacceptable on a Delicate setting. I had a Geek Squad repairman out to look at it. He ordered a new electrical panel. There was no change. I am very unhappy with the spin cycles. There is little difference between the Low setting and the Medium and High settings. This LG washer was not programmed right at the factory. I would definitely recommend staying away from this particular LG model.

Love how it doesn't damage cloths as much as traditional washers. It does take longer to wash due to water efficiency, but I like how it washes.

I absolutely love this washing machine. The clothes are so much cleaner than with my old washer that recently stopped working. Being restricted by space in my laundry room I researched at least 10 makes/models before going to Best Buy to look at the set I had selected. But, with the salesperson's help I chose this machine over my selection. I am so glad I did. My previous washer was a front load machine without all of the options to provide better cleaning. Doing laundry is so much easier now.

I love the fact that this model is large enough to wash my king-sized comforter. However, I am 5'4" and cannot reach the bottom of the machine for that last sock without stretching up on my toes and hanging into the tub. I recommend that anyone under 5'4" look at a different model, otherwise I would recommend it. Yes, the clothes are very clean even in what seems like a small amount of water.

Never thought I'd be excited to get a new washing machine, but this thing is great. Easy to use and cleans really well.

Great space - works great - one load maybe two is more than enough to do all my laundry for more than a week - great for large items such as comforters and blankets more than enough room for pillows - does not bump around - and by-the-way plays the nicest music when the cycle is complete.

If you want a top load this is great. Side loads have issues with mold this one is big enough for two full bedding.

Excellent washer i had before. I can wash a large laundry in a while. Also very good for very large size comforter.

This washer does and excellent job. I love not having an agitator. Clothes come out cleaner and take less time to dry.

We purchased this washer about a month ago, washer is great my only problem is Best Buy then runs in a lot cheaper.

I do really like the machine. You need to be pretty tall to reach in to get clothes out but it's quick.

The washer was a welcome addition to our family! The Best Buy team did a nice job setting it up as well.

Love this top loader and will never go to a front loader again! Don't have to worry about membrane issues getting gummed up or smelling the clothes! I do however watch the load fill up and press the water plus button for washing jeans or towels. Love the speed wash cycle for a quick load of clothes. Definitely use the towel cycle for towels.

After reading several reviews we were convinced that Samsung was the best rated brand. Our last Samsung only lasted less than 4 years & had a service call due to a bad design so I was not sure about what I read. Now it was broken again. The salesman showed us why we should buy the LG instead & I am glad he did. This was our 2nd major appliance purchase (this 1 was not planned) in less than a month & now I trust this salesman.

Our clothes come out very clean. Extremely large wash tub. Easy to use electronic control panel.

We had a front loader for many years, when it died we decided to go with this LG top loader. Bad idea, we didn't have this washer for a month when I noticed water all over the floor. I checked all the connections everything was fine. Did a second load, again water all over the floor. When I looked under the washer I saw water dripping from the bottom. We called Best Buy and they exchanged it for another LG top loader. I couldn't belive it when the same thing happened to the second washer. We returned it also and went with a Sumsung front loader. No problems with this one we are very happy and the clothes come out a whole lot cleaner
