I love love love this LG top loading washer. I had to give up my old LG toploading washer when I sold my home and was so happy to see that this washing machine was very similar except only better because it has the turbowash feature that speeds up the wash cycle. It holds SO much - my only regret is that I didn't own it when all my children were still living at home and generating tons of dirty clothes!

Can wash small to large loads. Lots of options/ choices of wash program. Fun to watch through the glass lid.

Washes items very well and with its large barrel, comforters and larger items that I used to wash at the laundromat can now be washed at home.

After my front load washer started acting up, I started looking for washers online. I was looking at another front load washer to replace it but then the huge problem happened!! There was a small piece of rubber that had snapped off the front seal of the washer. Now at first I didn't think anything of it, threw it away. Well you can't use front loads without those seals. I had to super glue that back in place till we figured out what we wanted. No brainer!! It was going to be the LG top load 5.2 cu ft washer. I wanted something huge that I could wash my bed stuff in and this does it!! It washes at least 4 loads of clothes at once!! It is one amazing washer. I love all the settings, it's quiet, you have so many options to choose from, it's endless. There is the quick was as well. I would highly recommend this washer. I'm so glad I went back to a top load!!!

Handles smaall loads and big loads with ease. Cleans clothes...previous washer wasn't getting the laundry clean.

WOW- Now that's the washing machine I've been looking for all these years. The capacity of this machine is OUTSTANDING. Its kinda fun just watching it wash. I've never had a washing machine that actually moves the articles being washed all around throughout the load like this machine does. just an outstanding design. BUY ONE!

Very quiet gets the stains out very nice looking washer user friendly

High capacity means no more ligging blankets to the wash house. Gets everything clean and no soap residue.

I prefer LG products. Our 9 year old front load LG developed a bad shaft bearing+ making it cost prohitive to repair. Reviewing new washing machines the top load LG without an agitator is best for our family of six. It has a huge tub and can easily wash comforters. The front load was a good choice years ago but the front seal gets stained over time. We were doing 3-4 loads per day and now are doing 2-3 loads per day. So far we have been very happy with its washing capability and overall performance.

First and foremost we picked this brand & model based on previous reviews along with capacity. The capacity is HUGE. We have cut the number of loads we go through in half at least. Coupled with a new high-capaicty dryer, we have cut our laundry time in half easily. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that I've noticed for heavily soiled loads it has not gotten them really clean, it took 2 cycles on some of the clothes. Also, with sheets they get much more twisted for some reason on every load. Other than that, it's worked flawlessly. Very happy with our purchase.

Works very well, gets clothes clean and has large capacity. Bought this to replace a " highly rated" maytag that did not get our clothes clean. Like the ability to add more water with the water plus option. TurboWash is a little louder than I'd like it to be but it works good. Overall very happy with this purchase.

When I first received this my washer/dryer purchase the washer wasn'the working. The store sent me another and this one is working great! They think the first washer wasn't working due to an installation error (water line wasn't completely turned on) which caused the sensors in the machine to throw low pressure errors. I opted for a replacement just to ease my mind that I hadn't gotten a faulty machine. The replacement is awesome! It can wash huge loads quietly. The control panel is easy to understand and I even like the little tune it plays when the cycle has finished. My only complaint is that, at 5'1", I sometimes have trouble reaching things at the bottom of the machine because of the depth but it's a small price to pay for such a great washer.
