It works on iMac

Can read regular DVD movies quickly and burn DVD-R at 8x the speed. It takes about 8 mins to burn a 4G file. The pop out tray can be a hassle if there is a small work area. Otherwise, good price and great product.

Your product, (the LG - Ultra Slim 8x Max. DVD Write Speed External USB Dvd±rw/CD-RW Drive - Black) is lightweight, compact, and surprisingly sturdy and I am using it a lot!
