Works... but not great

But only a few months after purchasing it, the locking mechanism that keeps the dvd tray in broke. It still works when I use a rubber band to hold it shut, but it is annoying to have to use that.

Gets the Job Done

I wasn't bothered by the sound that others have mentioned. It gets the job done. I would prefer to not have to purchase an external drive but I kinda did that to myself by buying the Macbook without the drive built in. I don't regret purchasing it at all though.. I spent $5 on it because it was on sale ($15 off) and I had a $20 promo certificate.
